  1. On my iPod they are. I have been left with no choice but to force these on my friends, and any other people in close proximity.
  2. Because of tedious work commitments, I won't be at this, so just checking in to say good luck, hope there's a good turnout! I'll try to make one of the next ones!
  3. Ahh, a man of taste. Your genius is unparalleled sir. As a cheerful aside, how good was the soup at this gig?
  4. Fantastic news. I wasn't going to be through until Monday this week but I think the schedule needs a rejig. The first time I saw you guys was when I was in first year at uni, supporting Breed 77 at Moshulu. I'm well up for catching this gig.
  5. I've set up camp permanently on your MySpace enjoying the tunes lately. I properly loved you guys' set, I must say. So in short, come back soon!
  6. I love me some metal! Be it good old fashioned thrash, power metal or Swedish death metal, I'm pretty far into it in fact! And yes, I am indeed. I remember playing a demo of yours the Sunday after Wizard 2007! Funny how things work out sometimes eh! Are tickets on the go for the March one?
  7. Think I'll try to get along to the March one, that lineup is pretty tidy like.
  8. I concur. I've been a massive Coldplay cynic for a long time but went to this on the strength of the new album, which I really like. Was hit for six by how good they were to be honest.
  9. Is there still tickets for this? I have goodbyes to say.
  10. Aye, I think much the same. I remember it was my mum who told me about this first on the phone. When she said it was "some instrumental guy" I assumed it would be some no-name looking to make a fast buck, but I was pretty taken aback when I realised it was Satch. To go chasing things like this seems a bit below him / petty. Also, I don't suppose this matters much, but in the comparison video that everyone's using for this on Youtube, Viva La Vida has been sped up a wee bit so it sounds like it's in the same key as If I Could Fly.
  11. This is almost as frivilous as the last time someone tried to sue Coldplay over this track.
  12. I'm with Stich on this one. FQ were hit and miss, but when they got it right, it was pretty spectacular. Kays Lavelle did very little for me i must admit, but Kartta impressed me muchly. With any luck I'll be down at the Frightened Rabbit gig to catch you guys again, but if I don't make it, all the best.
  13. 'Those Who Left' and 'Holy Lord, Shawshank Redemption is Such a Good Movie' by Murder By Death both tick this box. Unfortunately, YouTube isn't co-operating and there's no decent videos. Still, worth a look.
  14. He's a talented guy, in my opinion, but I don't think anyone could have been given this job and not come in for a raft of criticism. I think my objection with this lies not necessarily in the fact Myles Kennedy is doing it, but the fact that it's even happening in the first place.
  15. Thanks man, I really enjoyed your set too, a wee bit different from a lot of bands in the city at the minute. As for us, although I think horrendous is a bit rough, it wasn't our best show to date. Still, it could have gone much worse. In other news, I really liked Attic Lights. Inspired choice of cover version too.
  16. I don't think a reunion would work. When they split, didn't Mark and Travis have some pretty intensely harsh things to say about Tom Delonge? Angels and Airwaves' second record was dismal, I thought.
  17. I'm a great lover of this lot. Had to miss them last time out but caught them back at Drummonds a few years back when they were still called Fans of Kate. Kind of kept an eye on them ever since.
  18. Didn't realise it was a full-scale disbanding. That's a pity, I was really looking forward to seeing them. Very unfortunate indeed.
  19. Headlight are now local support for this show. Party on.
  20. I really enjoyed Wall E. Pretty original stuff. Seen it a thousand times now but I re-watched Arlington Road last night. Good Lord, that's a good film.
  21. I love that record. Especially Sinister Rouge. Murder by Death - Red of Tooth and Claw. Sort of black-hearted country stuff with added cellos.
  22. Due to a last-ditch round of support act musical chairs, the title of this thread is now 66% lies. We're still playing, but the others have pulled out. New support acts TBC!
  23. Not sure about that. Must admit I didn't love their last record.
  24. We're playing this one too, so I'll be there. Looking forward to it!
  25. Tell me about it. In situations like this my first instinct would normally be to get a ticket for Glasgow and cane it down on a Megabus tomorrow, but I've actually got a gig of my own at Drummonds! I'm actually pretty disappointed about this, I was looking forward to some 2003-based nostalgia from the WITTB tour at the Lemon Tree. Much sadness!
