  1. Just as a matter of interest, what the hell is a "wetback" ? .... I've never heard that term before !
  2. nice eyes, but botox lips I think (gross really)
  3. bumpity-bump ! Considering other post, thought I'd bump mine (mines cheaper)..... as its still for sale as buyer I had appears to have lost interest
  4. Touche' Bigs...... mmm...maybe I am ? or at least, I feel quite uncomfortable when its exhibited that blatently..... actually the Circus was fucking brilliant, even the tight trousers !!
  5. ....but he could have chosen the Moscow State Circus surely ? (I did) I think you'd have to be pretty secure in your sexuality to be able to endure seeing the Ladyboys...
  6. "you're my main man!" (despite her sad demise its nice to finally get some points)
  7. Some "Fish Shops" in Otley, where I grew up, also sold : Parsley Cakes (like ordinary fish cakes but made with mashed potato & parsley), Savouries (Mashed Potatoes, Onion & Corned Beef), Scallops, and of course "Scraps" (which you got for free) ...and there was none of this "ordering and waiting" carry on, the fishfryer always had about a dozen of each already cooked..... much faster !! .... and even now, its MUCH cheaper than in the Deen ! Soda, are you old enough to remember just asking for "One of each?"
  8. .... or Canadians, with their Poutin (gravy) & Cheese Oh.....Best fish & chips ever imho....seek it out if your ever down there : Westbourne Fisheries, Bradfordf Road, Otley, West Yorks !! brilliant ! (still owned by a member of the original Harry Ramsden Family from Guiseley... at least it still was a couple of years ago)
  9. I find that Travelodge's standards are falling, and now prefer to book at Premier Inn.... (on a humorous note, my son who's 11, pointed out that Travelodge should have 2 'L's....cos atm it's really called Travel -ODGE.... he's very astute for an eleven year old !)
  10. er: as quoted from wiki's Tunnocks page : "The name tea cake is somewhat confusing as generally a teacake is taken to mean a sweet bread roll with dried fruit added to the mix, which is usually served toasted and buttered. A Tunnock's Tea Cake bears no relation to this product."
  11. I concur.....but I mainly used to call em' teacakes or breadrolls link : Bread roll - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (couple of things I miss Soda, are Flat Cakes & Long Buns...LOL... a corned beef salad in a flat cake was just the biz !!)
  12. Twats that take up disabled parking spaces, when they have no obvious card showing and my missus is in lots of pain and can't walk too far on her crutches.... fuck off you inconsiderate bastards!
  13. Nectarines ...... I seem to have a thing about them atm .... juicy & delicious

  16. Jimmy Cliff - Wonderful World, Beautiful People
  17. Its very sad when anybody dies in those kind of circumstances, she had a very troubled life, drink, drugs etc...some might well say self-inflicted, but she had good musical talent, even if she was not everyone's cup of tea.... lots of people will miss her, and 27 IS very young !... well she's matched someone she said was her idol, Janis Joplin, and ended her life too early and tragically ! Unfortunately or fortunately, however you want to look at it, I thought she would be a candidate for early burnout......and she's earned me some points in the Dead Pool... shame though ! o_O
  18. sry...but ignoring E.C.'s blunder..... I offer : Bob Marley - Keep on Moving
  19. lets get back on track then .... Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band - Fire Lake
