  1. Contact doesn't happen in a Social Work Office for nothing so there must be more to this than meets the eye.
  2. There lies the problem! My heating is annoying too... landlord thought underfloor heating would be a good idea. Might be nice on the feet, but not very helpful when it take like 60mins to warm up!! It's also not good if there's a wet jacket that needs toasted!!

    Lady Gaga

I think they mean real women as in the ones you see walking down Union Street rather than some singer that's styled to the extreme. There is no way a 'normal' woman could wear this...

    Weekend

My weekend consists of - Friday - nothing, sleeping and trying to stave off my cold! Saturday - watch the Aberdeen vs Rangers game with my dad (on tv because I don't get away tickets yet) and have lunch with the parents. Sunday - tidy my flat and do some washing. Attempt to buy something to wear for my work Christmas night out and try to finish a report for work that has to be sent away on Tuesday. Fun times for me.
  5. This happened when I saw it too!! Felt like I was 14 again!! Haha. And yes... R-Pattz, as the tabloids have nicknamed him, is rather lovely!!
  6. Well, it was pitiful. The highlight... Peter Lovenkrands and his dodgy accent getting interviewed at half time on the pitch and the away fans getting a lot of boos when doing their rendition of You'll Never Walk Along. Don't think I've wasted 96 before (that was the 3 home games not just tonight!)!
  7. Seriously poor show! Why would you not just hand it in?!?! *shakes head*
  8. New Moon. Saw it today and it was very enjoyable!!
  9. Sometimes fillings are hiding and they can only be found with an x-ray!! Last time I was at the dentist I got an x-ray and he found a filling.
  10. They're trying to turn it more into American Idol e.g. the group sing-a-longs which are pretty pitiful and the huge stage productions!! Olly is my favourite because he is the only one that is actually entertaining me. Jedward don't count. Anyway, it won't affect my music listening as I won't be buying anything that is released but it's half decent Saturday night tv. Although in saying that they'll probably ruin another song that'll then become Christmas number 1!
  11. Hmmm. Unless there is some knight on a white horse (and I'm not convinced there will be) nothing will be fixed, so I suppose he's without contract (even if it is rolling it's not exactly safe) making it easier for someone e.g Scotland to approach him. I await an announcement that actually means something is happening. Scotland need fresh impetuous, not sure who, but someone enthusiastic and realistic!!
  12. A History of Violence. Really quite enjoyed it, not as much violence as I thought there was going to be! But when it was there in short sharp bursts it was yucky!! Good film though.
  13. He won't have a contract come January.
  14. The album bores me. Granted it may take time, but it just bores me. I hope it just needs more listens. I was even bored at the gig last Monday at the Barrowlands. They played well as usual, the lights were amazing, the crowd were (mostly) good, however, the problem might have had something to do with too much Puzzle which I've seen live so many times now. Blackened Sky remains my favourite Biffy album.
  15. Ah, ok. I couldn't think of anything worse. It'll smell bad inside that lift (and I don't mean your friends, unless they smell of course). At least they're not on their own. That would freak me out!
  16. Can they not push a button inside the lift?! Because Morrisons will close eventually if that's where they are.
  17. That's disgusting. 60 seconds is hardly a long time to just shut up and say nothing.
  18. My only claim to 'fame' is that Jamie Afro from X Factor follows me!! Haha. This is mine - Jeanette McKellar (jeanettedot) on Twitter I don't ever say anything interesting though.
  19. I've totally become addicted to True Blood! I saw half an episode on Channel 4 and wasn't impressed, but I decided to watch it properly from episode 1 of season 1 and I'm really enjoying it!!
  20. Facebook would suggest that hundreds of people will have photos. Everything tonight is just update upon update of new 'Halloween Night Out' photo albums. I spent my Halloween watching True Blood. It was enjoyable.
  21. Aww. Don't say that!! They were outstanding back in June!! It was the first time I'd seen them, but two of my friends have seen them many times and thought it was the best they've played and commented that Jesse was on good form too!!!
  22. It is a grower. And some of it is plain weird, I do like the creepy singing lady! The couple of tracks they played back in June at the Barrowlands sounded awesome live.
  23. That would be nice... then I'd only have 15 kids on my caseload instead of 30!!! Even then I probably wouldn't have enough time to see all of them and their families, the other professionals involved, write reports, attend meetings and do casenotes. This is so very true. The working week just doesn't have enough hours. Some of my colleagues often have their weekends taken up trying to get reports done. I know my time to do this will come soon! /rant BBC NEWS | Europe | Row over Sarkozy's unused shower Supposedly 221,000 for a shower!!! Nice to know politicians expenses are being highlighted elsewhere too.
