Precious - It was quite an uplifting film in the end. Emotionally charged and very uncomfortable viewing at times. Mo'Nique who played the abusive mother was excellent, it's no wonder she won a Golden Globe. And Mariah Carey's bit part role was also very good. Such a good film. I highly recommend this!

Kyle Lafferty is more than a joke. Owen Coyle knew what he was doing when he said 'here, have him. 3m and he's yours'. We've been fooled!!! I don't pay my season ticket to watch his nonsense.

She's got a cheek though. Apparently she wanted to keep it quiet, but is now going to sell the story... Obviously whatever has happened is totally wrong, but surely it's best to just keep it 'in house' rather than blurting it to the press. It's not like it's just the adults, there's kids on both sides, that obviously weren't thought about at the time (if the kids were born then). I really struggle with the whole 'I'll sell my story mentality'. Ugh.

I heard it yesterday and it is pretty good. I have to admit that the Ke$ha (or however you spell it) version is a guilty pleasure of mine. As much 3OH!3 are annoying, that Starstruck (with weird spelling too) song with Katy Perry is catchy as well.

I love it!! I only started watching it because it's on after Hollyoaks. Also, Glee. It's hilarious. I'm addicted!!

I bet Mr Owl City wasn't expecting this explosion!! I blame Radio 1 (as I do for everything like this). He probably just plays away on his keyboard minding his own business. I didn't like the song at first, but it's kinda growing on me. Bit worried about listening to The Postal Service now. Not really enjoying Chipmunk, Tinchy Stryder etc... Where did they all come from?!?! That goes along with Pixie Lott, La Roux etc.

I went to the Emin exhibition in Edinburgh last year (I think it was last year) and it was actually pretty good. She's completely crazy, but it was quite clear there's a lot of emotion in her pieces. Even the unmade bed! Today's pet hate: my indoor aerial. It's driving my Freeview box mental and my outisde aerial doesn't work. Oh well.

I was told on Sunday during the Hampden tour that the Scottish Cup never leaves it's box except for the presentation (and lap of honour) at the Scottish Cup final. Either that man told me a lie or you are being conned into kissing the replica!!! 8o

Rangers were totally rubbish today. And Lafferty should be made to stand at the front of the stadium and be pelted with tomatoes... But. Hearts. Oh dear God, they are horrendous. Nade is as much of a joke as Lafferty and that's some joke!

Of course it's a problem, but what I meant was it's not a problem for me because I know I went to uni to achieve my degree and got it. So if people want to waste their time... and money then that's their choice I guess. They just don't need to bring others into it who actually want to achieve something. One of the guys I lived with in Halls didn't even make it to the Christmas of 1st year, this impacted on everyone else because he wasn't studying anymore and just wanted the stereotypical student life. Other people were brought down with this because they were attracted to those bright lights and gave into the peer pressure. Work is my pet hate today! It's just far too busy and the weeks are just disappearing. I keep thinking I have more time than I do to finish reports and things, but I really don't!

Yeah, I know what you meant! Some people see uni as one big party, and that's not a problem, but it's a problem when they couldn't care less what they're studying about and that impacts on everyone else, who are trying to get their degree etc. I could rant about this for ages too!!

Same. I only watched last 15 mins or so. The scenes at Villa Park are pretty cool! Gotta love a peaceful pitch invasion!

Social Workers need to party too!!!!! But I do agree with you. I had this problem when I lived in halls. On one occasion I had had 1 hour sleep before being in uni all day. It was horrid. Bunch of lairy guys in the kitchen singing Wonderwall at 6am is not cool. My pet hate is traffic. Tonight's drive from work (Falkirk) to home (Glasgow) took nearly 2 hours!! It's rubbish.
