  1. You were playing with 10 men before he got sent off anyway! I didn't notice McGeady on the pitch at all. At least Samaras got himself about a wee bit. The ref made some poor decisions, but league titles aren't just won and lost in Old Firm games. I do however have an unexplained massive bruise to my shin. Must've been all the celebrating!!!
  2. Whaaaat?!?! It was scarily realistic! Maybe it was the hype that did it though. Expectation and all that jazz. I saw it on the day it came out so there wasn't an awful lot of media converage etc.
  3. Flat hunting is the worst thing in the world. It's always 5 bad apples to 1 good apple! You'll find the right flat eventually!! Good luck! My boiler is doing my head in. Yesterday morning = hot water. Last night when I was getting ready to go out = no hot water. Reset button pressed = nothing. Reset button pressed at 3.30am when I got in = hot water. Why could it not have worked when it was supposed to?!?!
  4. You better give him a fiver. Yes, I do indeed drive to work because I actually do need my car when I'm there. Even taking the train probably wouldn't cut time on a normal drive by the time I get to the train station from my flat and also walking from the train station to the office. As a Social Worker I'm all over the place, not just in the one wee bit where our office is. Yesterday was just a freak situation! Never been delayed that long before.
  5. What are you talking about?! This makes no sense. Sorry.
  6. I have to have volumes on an even number. If I'm at something e.g. football, cinema, theatre, the person I'm with has to sit on my right. This only applies when it's just 2 people. If I'm not driving and I have to sit in the back, I need to sit behind the passenger, not the driver. I think I just like to watch what they're doing!
  7. The fact it took 3 hours to get to work this morning. That's Glasgow to Falkirk - normally just over 60 mins!! I will never be able to reclaim that time back!!
  8. This is just horrible... Woman, 100, stabbed to death | The Sun |Home Scotland|Scottish News
  9. I quite like Inter Milan. They're not scared to make a challenge! It's awfully fire-y.
  10. More than likely... wonder which lovely Glasgow nightclub he was frequenting!!
  11. Dearie me... Can't keep themselves out of trouble! BBC Sport - Football - Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor injured in incident
  12. Went to see Youth in Revolt last night. Typical Michael Cera performance. It was very enjoyable and highly amusing!
  13. Indeed. I got the cd today... and a free cd with it and wee 'thank you' card signed by the founder. I'll definitely purchase from them again. On the Kyle Lafferty note, apparently he had his Bentley re-shelled so instead of buying a new one he changed the one he's got into a white one.
  14. Her blog thing is horrendous and that piece on translation in the NHS and council services is just beyond belief.
  15. Buying a cd from an independent label in American and getting a personalised email to thank me and some free music because the shipping is taking ages. And then another email with artwork that I asked for for itunes. Lovely lovely people.
  16. That is a good point. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see what was bought or what car he was driving. But since that's the 2nd footballer I've seen in that Asda (Charlie Adam was the other) I'll keep an eye out and report back!!
  17. All the extra officials in the Europa League are confusing me!
  18. Yeah. It was in the dairy aisle... he was having a tantrum because his girlfriend wouldn't put Petit Filous in the trolley!!
  19. He is very dislikeable and totally useless. However, I saw him in Asda on Tuesday night and he doesn't look like that in real life!!
  20. You should've put money on that!!
  21. It easy done because they're changing it so much. There's lane closures on Saturday (just to prewarn you) so give some extra time. Trick is... if you're not going on any slip roads stay on the outside, especially since people joining or leaving are slowing right down. It's kinda like Crazy Taxi at times.
  22. I feel your pain. However only a wee bit because that is my journey to and from work... everyday! Thank goodness for the back roads, but even they're going to have roadworks... linked to those roadworks eventually. And all for the next year and a half!! Although I'm trying to stay positive... the new road will be AMAZING!!
  23. From where I was sitting (on the opposite side of the pitch) it just looked like a bodycheck, so the angle would have a lot to do with. Some questionable refereeing/lineman decisions on Sunday. But this is a recurring theme, and for both teams. The inconsistency is getting on my nerves now!
  24. It was a really good game to be at. Think it's the best I've been to this season where the other team set up to attack. Some of Hibs passing play is lovely to watch. I haven't seen the penalty again, but obviously from where I was sitting and on one viewing it looked like one. If Hibs can continue with some consistency then they really could push Celtic (unless we lose lots of points and Celtic win the league).
  25. It was even great to listen to on the radio. It doesn't always convey the atmostphere etc but it actually did for a change!
