  1. The Frankie and Bennies down at the beach is just as average. Been there a couple of times and it's just poor!
  2. Those photos are shocking! Wonder if there will be any charges brought against any of the players. If that happened in the street there'd be a few court appearances!!
  3. Haha. Were you watching The Football Years?! Yes... he is. Quite irritating too.
  4. Well, I pitched in with my Warehouse vs Korova views at the start, so I guess I should stick with the script and post my exam results!! Standard Grades English - 2 Maths - 2 French - 1 Biology - 2 Chemistry - 2 History - 2 Music - 2 Computing - 2 Highers English - C French - B Chemistry - C Modern Studies - B Int 2 History - A (because I failed Higher ) Advanced Highers - I had a disasterous 6th year, getting into uni on 5th results is not good for the motivation! Modern Studies - C
  5. Just watched it on iPlayer too. I thought the majority of it was funny. Jacqueline McCafferty was hilarious!
  6. I didn't think there had been any 'competition' between the Cathouse and Classic Grand. I haven't been to a clubnight in Moshulu since it became Warehouse, but I'm sure both Korova and the rock night at Warehouse will be equally well attended. People like to have choice. It gets boring going to the same place after a while. This seems a bit pointless. Bit of cheeky promotion eh?!
  7. Daybreakers. It was ok. Nothing special.
  8. Goooooo Compaaaaare. Argh!!
  9. Bedtime Stories... I watched it over Christmas. Wasn't exactly a testing watch but quite enjoyable!! I also had my annual viewing of The Wizard of Oz. Amazing as usual. And Mary Poppins was just as good as I remembered.
  10. It's about his brother who was (or is) in prison. I'm sure I read that story.
  11. Don't be so pedantic. You didn't say you didn't have a licence!!
  12. It's actually pretty dangerous travelling in the weather the way it is. My manager was watching the weather to send some of us home if it got worse. It's about ensuring that the staff are safe. What use is anyone with a broken leg or worse. I have a 60 mile round trip to work therefore being sent home early is a nice gesture for actually making the 30 miles in the morning. To be fair it's nowhere near as bad down here as it is for you lot but it's the principle of people ensuring the safety of others. Just because you choose not to have a car and use public transport doesn't mean you should have a go about employers sending people home early. Maybe you're just jealous you haven't been having snow days!! Also, the roads are generally a wee bit quieter because it's the Christmas week. /rant.
  13. There's thousands upon thousands of tweets... Sky News are also reporting it.
  14. Woo! For the first time since I was 10 I've actually listened to the chart! That was quite exciting! Haha.
  15. Don't know if this has been posted... But oh dear... BBC News - 'Lost in translation' interview becomes web hit
  16. Bring Me The Horizon. I don't think I need to give an explanation.
  17. Mimmo's Bistro is amazing. The pre-theatre menu is pretty good too!!
  18. Something against Scottish bands who all, with the except of Flood of Red perhaps, sing with a Scottish accent?? p.s you've already mentioned Twin Atlantic.
  19. It was everywhere during the summer. And although not my usual cup of tea, it matched my holiday partying!! Haha.
  20. I'm just not sure... I've been to 22 gigs this year. My top 5 is probably... Brand New at the Barrowlands in June Paramore at the SECC just last week Basement Jaxx at the Academy back in April Alexisonfire at the Academy in October Jack's Mannequin at the QMU in August. Other mentions go to... Funeral For A Friend at Moshulu in October, Twin Atlantic at QMU, The Xcerts at King Tuts back in March and Kevin Devine in Captains Rest (December).
  21. Who knows... I saw them a few years back sell out the Academy (Glasgow)... and then in 2007 play to about 30 people in Moshulu. It's a strange business!
  22. Law Abiding Citizen. Surprisingly enjoyable. Lots of blood and a high murder count (always good).
  23. Working up until Christmas Eve, and Christmas is usually just spent with the family. Managed to get inbetween Christmas and New Year so me and some friends have rented a house in the middle of the country in Skipness (Argyle and Bute) for a few days. Really looking forward to getting away!!
