  1. "Burn After Reading" was great! You didn't even find the Head of the CIA scenes with J.K. Simmons funny? It's a lot like The Big Lebowski; a slow burner that grows better with age and with more viewings.
  2. Au contraire, what did the goat do to me!
  3. To the people boasting of their specific knowledge about what happened... ...TELL ME! If you don't then I'm I'm going to assume you don't know anything.
  4. Playstations? Holy fuck! I mean I knew prisons were tough, but forcing them to play shitting consoles? That's just mean. At least give them a real format (PC) with CS:S at the very least. TF2 for good behaviour. If you are going to be inside for the rest of your life then replayability is surely the most important factor.
  5. I have no idea, but it would seem the logical thing to assume given the information cited in this thread.
  6. Yeah it's about time that we get over all this hate and misunderstanding. I just want to see homophobic bigots and raging homosexuals kiss and make up...
  7. I'll agree to the former, but not to the latter,
  8. Haha, that guy was hilariously bad! The amazing "I'm so into this song right now" face was brilliant.
  9. Strategy - Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance FPS - Counter Strike:Source/Team Fortress 2/Left4Dead Don't care about other games.
  10. Brilliant. Appealingly fun tracks that have agile, mesmeric sounds and dexterous, quirky melodies. Great music.
  11. I don't really think its a good question because we all remember different things and enjoy different aspects of an era. The 00's have been awesome so far for electronica (The Tuss, Modeselectktor etc.) and I don't think I could be without Radiohead's Kid A phase. On the flip-side I think "R&B" music has been the antagonist to this decade.
  12. While I was skiving out the back of a coffee shop I worked in while I was living in Australia, a staff member ran over to tell me that Keith from the Prodigy was sitting in for some food. I walked up and told him that I had heard the new album and then he asked what I thought about it and looked genuinely interested in my reply, which was: "Spitfire is pretty good..." and he said "Cheers, mate! That means a lot." If you think that was a profound conversation then check this out; When I was working at a cinema I walked past Ronnie O'Sullivan and said: "How's it goin'?" To which he replied: "Alright." Banter or what, amirite?
  13. Nah I'm the same. I only ask for my guitar and vox. Bass doesn't do much for me vocal wise.
  14. Tunnel 1. Yeah I don't think it was us. I think it's a good thread question, but to be honest I've had a lot more trouble with sound engineers than bands in the past.
  15. Heroes? Hmmm... In order: Achilles, Perseus, Jason, Theseus, Herakles, Odysseus, Bellerophon, Orpheus, Ajax, Oedipus & (although technically not a hero) Prometheus.
  16. Yeah I hate that! If you need the bass volume or whatever tweaked on stage, then don't play the full song (including the minute and a half intro devoid of any bass...). Just play half a verse and move on. Playing a whole song should only be required once during a soundcheck and only so the sound engineer can gel everything together.
  17. I hope you aren't talking about us? We had a hard time getting the band before us off stage after they had played!
  18. We have a gig tonight (Friday 20th February) for the first time in 6 months. At The Lemon Tree. 5 First band on at 8.30pm. Katerwaul, Cast of the Capitol and Ded Rabbit are also playing.
  19. Sarcasm? Really?!? No, mate - I genuinely thought your post was worthwhile.
  20. Wow - your post was amazing! So funny, but pertinent and enlightening also. I loved the bit about it being your own opinion, that's hilarious! It's funny because it's so clearly and blatantly obvious that it is your own opinion - I mean, why would you state anyone elses opinion? Genius subtle humour. I'm a fan.
