  1. At one point when I was a kid I owned 241 Gerbils! They all died of a 'mystery' illness while I was on holiday (or so my folks told me). Gerbils are very good for mice problems. Just let them run around the house and all the mice get scared and move out - problem solved and better than burning them!
  2. No in a lab silly - They grow human skin for grafting, why not animal fur for a coat?
  3. Sweet FA of course - There wouldnt be any light getting in!
  4. That is correct sir! - I don't know if the Glasgow one is shutting down though

    Darts

I love the darts! I'm not getting much of a chance to watch it however. I seem to be a busy bee recently. I saw Andy Fordham making an ass of himself on sunday though lol
  6. Happy birthday! - Crap you are working but ho-hum thats life! I'd love to pop into the union for a snog but I'm not a student so thay won't let me in. Hae a good un tho.
  7. Natural World has been there for at least 5 years! I can't believe it took you that long to find it. It's sad to see another cool shop going though I hear Primark is moving into Littlewoods, I wonder what delights the Bon-accord will tantilise us wi next!
  8. I don't think so, mine never did, although they do shed a lot of hair, the reason being that they have 20 hairs coming out of each hair follicle. All other animals have 2. Thats why chinchilla fur coats were so popular - lovely snuggly warm! A shame so many little peeps have to snuff it for a jacket tho. In the world of genetics you think they could grow fur without involving animals!?! Nice idea but maybe not.
  9. Please don't scrap the calendar - My web use is restricted cos I only get on the net at work, and this is the only place I can go to find out anything. And I'm not alone - all public sector workers have the same restrictions! But yeah it is annoying when there are ads for gigs that are incomplete but hey - noone is infallible, I always used to forget something when I was doing posters.
  10. Earl of Sandwich are definately the best sandwich eatery in town - But thier sandwiches are so small! A footlong will last me all day, and they are quite tasty.
  11. Very Enjoyable - Wouldn't waste my money on buying it though.
  12. There's a 'please give blood' thread somewhere for everyone to post their blood types on.
  13. Most people in britain don't know either. My job is medical records, and most folk never have the test done to find out. The NHS don't do it as standard.
  14. I'd buy myself a house, then I could afford to buy myself new toys every month using my rent money - Hurrah!
  15. All rodents are class, and this little mousey is no exception. The evil dude got what he deserved. I had a chinchilla that jumped onto the fire once - and set light to the hearth rug on the way out. No chinchilla's or houses were irrepairably damaged but the rug came to a nasty end.
  16. Saucer of milk for ahbody!
  17. This will forever be the decade where I stopped buying NME and Metalhammer (for promoting utter shite) and started to find some amazing bands from europe. I haven't really heard anything inspirational from any bands I've seen at any of the mainstream festivals this decade, which I feel rather sad about. Thanks to the net, it's easier to find music to your individual taste and get awa from the traditional charts and peer pressure. I think what I'm trying to say is that there won't be any 'definitive' bands of the decade, as everyone will be finding/enjoying thier own thing.
  18. Am I the only one that finds the fact that Bux would like his girl to stench of curry and beer, a bit strange?
  19. That sounds like a bum deal you were dealt there, sympathies to you. I don't have a car and I manage to get about fine. Think of it as an adventure. You always see more walking or on the bus.
  20. I've never experienced any laxitive effects and I can scoff packets at a time when I'm in the munchy zone. Are you thinking of Dates or Prunes? I get muddled up too!
  21. Wow that is taking it a bit far! I see Asda have the highest fig content though, I'll have to start buying from them. Do fig rolls count as part of your "5-a-Day"
