I was mega excited to hear that 3 Inches of Blood were coming to town, its a long way from Canada! Horns up high in praise! I went into 1up to get tickets only to discover that another band (HIMSA) were headlining! Anyone know if they are any good?

Pallas Good I was recording out at the Mill @ Banchory late last year and Niall let me hear some of the stuff they had recorded for thier new album. It was amazing! I can't wait to hear the finished product! I'm so excited!!

There is a bus driver (quite often on the No. 19 and Late Night Services) who has an absalutely classic mullet - Anyone seen him? On another note - Who is the student who can afford to get the bus from Bedford Rd into town? I work 2 jobs, Live in the multi's of Tillydrone and I can't afford to get the bus very often! Must have a rich mummy and Daddy.

I saw a bit on the news yesterday where they had some reporter dude masquerading (excuse the spelling) as a protestor and he had managed to get in with a group of thugs who were there protesting against the protest (you must of heard of how wiping out 3rd world debt would actually cause more famine & poverty and possibly start some wars) and boy did they look like they meant business!! Tooled up wi knives and chains!! so I think there were definately a few troublemakers there.

Don't listen to that lot. I did my first gig when I was 9 and I got a lotta stick cos I wasn't big enough to play a full size guitar. You don't get no respect till your at least 20 - no matter how good you can rock!! I'd be up for a bit of Jammin but as a sole bass player, me thinks we need some guitars.

Both Kaiser Chiefs and Franz are really rubbish (even though I must confess to doing a cover of Take me Out for a couple of months ages ago). Bloc party are tolerable but there are better bands out there so why waste your time listening to slightly sub-standard tunes when theres real rockin to be had? Thats how I feel about it anyway!

The new playstation is gonna have a webcam thing attached so it will become very popular. Bring it Back!

I've just pre-ordered a copy of the Foo Fighters new album thats due out soon - Should be good got a CD of Rockin and a CD of acoustic to suit every mood.

No Galloglass, Sonata Artica or DragonForce!! I canny be bothered typing up my list either but surely any PowerMetal list should have these bands on? and maybe Balance of Power as well in a soft fuzzy way of course!

I agree it's a historic place of world value but who the fuck cares about whats going on in New York? I have enough bother keeping hold of reality in Aberdeen without worrying about the rest of the world thank you!!

Yeah your right BOA isn't what I would call a partucularly full festival but hell its only 45 quid and you get to bask in the english sunshine for a few days and more importantly - get out of this town - Bliss!! And besides it's worth it for the craik alone.

Is anyone going to the first Bloodstock open air festival at the end of June? . If so, how are you getting down to england-shire? and what bands are you going to be looking out for? - there are some class acts playing!!

I am the afore-mentioned Internetless Bass player trying to sell my acoustic Bass. It plays nae bad but only has 4 strings and I like 5 better now - Anything less is just confusing!! What Tosh failed to mention is that alliance is a sub-company of Fender I think.
