  1. Great stuff. What a band............3rd time they're playing in Aberdeen. Not to be missed!
  2. Hopefully i'll still get in at the door....but I have a funny feeling I won't.
  3. Hard-Fi are good. Green Day on the other hand, are the absolute pits. And I relish every opportunity to write that.
  4. Funny that, there was me thinking that simple intelligence would have recognised the 70s being before the 80s. Surely if there hasn't been a good punk band since the early 80s, there were good punk bands before that. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH
  5. 7pm doors, eh? Twas' a good night, cribs were wicked bad. Shame they didn't play longer though. Black wire were good as well.
  6. The Duke Spirit - Cuts Across The Land. Really good
  7. There hasn't been a decent punk band since the early 80s.
  8. He gets about 100 calls a day apparently. Oh mercy, i'm such a fangirl.
  9. Had school the next day unfortunately. Will make it for the next one hopefully! = me.
  10. Mine would also be Spiritualized last January. I got upstairs after the gig and got my vinyls signed I will forever be in the debt of the security guys for letting me up for that one.
  11. I'm not punk, no. Definitely hope i'm none of this fake self indulgant all-voices-sound-the-same American style "pop punk" malarky. If anything, i'm twee, innit.
  12. Maximo Park - good. The Rakes - better!
  13. Rubbish. Surely that would reinforce the opinion they arent' punk then?
  14. Without being genre defining, their music rebels against fuck all and the punk mentality is lost on them. "Oh but they did this and that against the Iraq Wr....toally inspirational......" Bollocks. Up there with the worst bands ever.
  15. I refuse to vote on the grounds that Green Day are considered a punk band on it. The best song by a mile is Real Shocks by Swell Maps, and it aint there
  16. MMMMMMMMAGIC! I'm there, innit.
  17. Little Barie are good, hope they went down well.
  18. I would put a rating for lasts nigts Aberfeldy.....but being kicked out after 10 minutes didn't help things Had to settle for Idlewild instead

    The Cribs

Mega, i'll certainly be there They'd better play Another Number mind.
  20. Everyone whos going, make sure you get down early to see the wonderful Agent Blue. Hope i'm not the only one down the front for them, they really are fantastic. Worth the ticket money alone for their support slot.
  21. If you're talking about the guy from the GNS gig, thats me. Fortunately I wasn't the one with the spectacular injury.
  22. The Usuals were alright, I can't say I was bowled over by them. Raising Kain are good, building up a reputation as a quality band. Thought I heard a glimpse of JaMC about em'. Good stuff. The Paddingtons were miles better than last time. Much better atmosphere as well. They've certainly got the songs and plenty of on stage charisma. Shame I got kicked out before the last song though. Keep Your Distance is ace: upcoming B-side on the Panic Attack single. A hardcore injury all right. I heard he needed quite a few stitches. Hope he's patched up and alright soon
  23. Last night's Paddingtons gig was really, really good; much better IMO than their last outing. Raising Kane were also cool Anyone else on here catch em'? Can't wait until next time.
