  1. Just completed a 4.97 km run with @Runkeeper. Check it out! https://t.co/Nakjvofik3 #Runkeeper

  2. Two separate mentions of MySpace Tom a few tweets apart on my timeline.... What are the odds? https://t.co/yYye6QTJ7Y

  3. I post on Facebook most days, it's pretty much just a way of life now. It's a good way of keeping up with friends and family that aren't in my immediate life, though I find the timeline so heavily skewed in favour of pages, groups etc now that I barely browse the newsfeed at all. There's almost nothing on there from friends and family, which is what I want to see. CBA going through unfollowing all the pages though. I have Twitter and I like it, but they seem determined to ruin it. It gets worse with every update, I can't even look at the timeline anymore so literally all I do is tweet, and it's maybe one or two a day. Insta I can take or leave. I have it but I'm not very active.
  4. NXT Takeover New Orleans, specifically Johnny Gargano vs Tomasso Ciampa. One of the best wrestling matches I've ever seen. 6 man ladder match was astonishing too.
  5. Wow look at those face tats. Love the Lisa Simpson line drawing on his Adam's apple.
  6. Was he the one that commited suicide? Literally the only thing I know about him.
  7. I had a laugh at this today. Tulisa has successfully sued Britney Spears and Will.i.am for not giving her songwriting credit on a song she worked on with them, specifically a lyric she wrote: "Tulisa maintained that she wrote some of the track’s key moments, including opening line, "when you hear this in the club, you’d better turn this shit up" If I'd written that shit I'd be suing to get my name taken off it.
  8. I was saying this to my missus the other day. All rap seems to be now is people mumbling over whompy bass sounds and occasional autotune. I keep hearing this piece of shit everywhere at the moment and it's fucking nads. The guy is just talking and they've added autotune.
  9. I don't understand how these two things are related. https://t.co/6ulPKbot9k

  10. I've hit a weird bug where no one in the Prydwen will talk to me. I was running back and forth doing the mission where you persuade farms to give you their crops. And I used to have this issue every time I did it where the guy would give me his closing line, let me know if you want any more missions or whatever, and the camera wouldn't cut away, there would just be 10 seconds of us gazing into each others eyes not talking (we're still nae spikkin'). But it would normally reset and I could initiate another chat and get another mission from him. Only this time it didn't, it hung for ages then when I tried talking to him again it was like he was ignoring me. "Proctor Quinlan." Silence. "Proctor Quinlan" Silence. Now no-one else on the Prydwen will talk to me either so I can't do any of the Brotherhood of Steel missions. I'm carrying around all these technical documents like a dick.
  11. I don't have the knowledge to do a top 5 90s goalie shirts, but I'll do top 5 Scotland strips. 5. The Italia 90 "leisure shirt". I didnt have it but I wanted the purple version so bad. It would have gone nicely with my shell suits and LA Gears. 4 - 1988 - 1991 away. Had this. Glorious. 3 - 93-95 away. Didn't have it. 2 - Euro 96. Purple and tartan. I loved it. Didn't have it. 1 - 91-92 away. Classic. Had it.
  12. Andy Goram wore at least two of those. They fit him though because he was a fat cunt.
  13. I'm going to marry wrestling. Anyway, anyone else got any top 5s?
  14. RT @withorpe: While the Mail takes every opportunity to attack Corbyn and Labour over antisemitism, here's a reminder of the time they decl…

  15. Just checked and Raw and Smackdown are only on one month delay. And yeah probably TV rights. In theory though you could watch all the programs and the PPVs one month behind. It's worth £9.99 anyway.
  16. PPVs go out live and can be watched on demand as soon as they finish. No delay on those. And yes, every single WWE, WCW and ECW pay per view ever, plus every Raw, every Smackdown, every WCW Monday Nitro and WCW Thunder, every ECW weekly show TV and much more, long-dead wrestling companies most people have never heard of, like AWA, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, All Star Wrestling and Global Wrestling Federation. Every program WWE have ever made is up there, should you want to watch Tuesday Night Titans or Saturday Nights Main Event from 1987. They even make their own reality shows, documentaries, even cartoons (all wrestling themed). You could be watching it for the rest of your life. Make sure you watch the Monday Night Wars documentary series, it's excellent. It's focused on the period between 1996-2000 when Raw was at its peak and has loads of archive footage of Stone Cold, DX, McMahon, NWO, Mankind, The Rock etc, and shows all the highlights without you having to search through hours and hours of Raw episodes. Plus it's just a great story. I love wrestling and I want WWE to be good again.
  17. The Network has so much on it. Its really good. Only thing it's missing is Raw and Smackdown is on three month delay. Everything else is up to date. NXT is worth watching. Its kind of their testing ground where they put young / new guys to establish themselves before moving to Raw or Smackdown and it's the best program they make IMO. They actually have characters and storylines on that show. Plus it's only an hour a week. TNA imploded a few years ago. They had various ownership changes, name changes, legal battles, lost their TV contract, they had to downsize massively, and most of their roster quit or was let go. WWE snapped up all the decent ones. It still exists but just barely and its called Impact Wrestling now. Shame because they had everything in place to grow and challenge WWE but they just fucked it up. WWE's biggest competition now is probably Ring of Honor but its small-fry compared to WWE. But increasingly people are going there and making a name for themselves. Some of the biggest names in wrestling at the moment have never even been in WWE, Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll, the Young Bucks, Ricochet (though he has just signed). Independent wrestling is massive at the moment, more and more independent companies have streaming services and you can watch wrestling from all over the world without a TV and people can create a huge following for themselves (and then WWE signs them and puts them on NXT). It's a weird time to be a wrestling fan. WWE are not only acknowledging independent wrestling companies, but signing their wrestlers and mentioning their achievements in other promotions. NXT is bursting with independent guys. Double weirdly the hotspot of wrestling at the moment is the UK, its red-hot, so much so that TNA started plans to make a weekly wrestling show in the UK with all-British wrestlers, although I think it fell through, and the WWE created a United Kingdom Championship and signed all these young British guys to contracts. They had a two-day elimination tournament to crown the first champion. From fucking Blackpool. Check it out, its on the Network.
  18. KEN DODD died at age 90. 90-99 years: 5 points No further bonuses. A unique pick for Alan Cynic who scores 8 points. STEPHEN HAWKING died at 76. 70-79 years: 7 points No further bonuses (although he missed an unluckyu 13 bonus by one day) So 7 points apiece for cahinton1, AVD and Delboy1969 BILL MAYNARD died at 89. 80-89 years: 6 points No further bonuses. A unique pick for Delboy who scores 9 points.
  19. ,It's been going consistently downhill for about 15 years in all honesty, it's been absolute crap for the last 6 or 7. I mostly don't watch it but I dip in and out now and again. It's a kids show now, squeaky clean and sanitised, and there are no characters or even storylines any more. It's pretty much two guys in shiny trunks saying "I don't like you", "yeah well I don't like you either, let's wrestle" now for three hours. Every now again they do something cool but it's far and far between. Goldberg coming back last year was pretty cool but they fucked it up. I was really excited them signing Ronda Rousey too, then what do they do, they put her in a Wrestlemania tag match with Stephanie McMahon and two retired old guys. What a total waste.
  20. 2001. Actually the year I started watching again. I watched from about 1989 until 1994, I can't remember why I stopped, I think maybe it switched channels or something and I couldn't watch it any more but I remember being upset about it. Then I picked it up again in 2001 when the WCW / ECW buyout happened. I completely missed the Attitude era, the famous Rock / Stone Cold / Mr McMahon / D-Generation X stuff.
  21. Do you know that show Impractical Jokers? That absolutely kills me. I think I've seen every episode. Agreed on the Gervais podcasts, they're absolute gold. I don't get background noise for sleep. I can only sleep in complete silence.
  22. Has anyone in this thread actually watched any wrestling since 1992?
