  1. Oh dear Penny, that can't be very hygienic.
  2. Putting aside practical things, which are just boring, I would bring... 1. My entire book collection, and if only one was allowed, then 'The Bell Jar' by Sylvia Plath or 'Heart of Darkness' by Joseph Conrad. 2. My photo albums. 3. A vast quantity of Sauvignon Blanc.
  3. Well then its just NOT cheating is it, since relationship rules don't count. But if you're on a break, your relationship is probably on its last legs anyway.
  4. If anyone cheated on me, they'd be gone. I couldn't handle it, no matter how much I loved them. And I know that. I have cheated on someone, but I made no excuse for it and I didn't want forgiveness. It was just the final step in succumbing to the fact I didn't want to be with them anymore. I don't agree with what others have said about there being different circumstances to consider. Cheating is cheating, the fact remains that however long you've been in the relationship and however much alcohol has been consumed, someone else replaced you. Your partner didn't come to you, didn't want you. But something which hasn't come up is the time-honoured belief 'once a cheat, always a cheat', which is of course, completely ridiculous in my opinion.
  5. I'll join the crowd and say Paris too, it's the most wonderful place I've ever been. Every minute of being there is just spectacular. Plus, wine with breakfast, lunch and dinner is always a good point! If you go to Montmartre, you'll never want to leave. I still have to see Kiev (Ukraine) and Moscow. They'll definitely be my favourites when I finally get there. Which is next year, so I can't complain.
  6. I think they added every person in Aberdeen. Awful.
  7. Erm, I don't think you understood the point of this thread.
  8. I hate genres. They just all melt into each other, and there's always a disagreement about who fits where. Bah. Anyway. Old Man Gloom. Grand. Khanate makes me tired. Its great. And Buried at Sea are fantasic. Great to listen to at bedtime.
  9. I've been to see it twice...its wonderful. It actually exceeded all of my expectations. Although, with Tim Burton at the helm, it was obviously going to be great. Johnny Depp is just classic in it, he fits the part perfectly, the exact voice and mannerisms I'd always visualised when I read the book. I just can't stop quoting lines from it, its so funny.
  10. Aye, it was indeed a fine night. I really enjoyed Project Ven-Hell, they're definitely something new and interesting in the Aberdeen scene. Then Smackdown were just fantastic, much better than I was expecting and I really enjoyed their set. Must say, it's one of the best gigs I've been to in a while, there seemed to be a really good atmosphere, so thanks to all involved. I hope its not too long till we see another!

  15. They were, by far, the biggest let-down live. I would never go and see them again.
  16. Very different. And interesting. And it scares the shit out of my cat, making it even better.
  17. I really want to go, but...another fucking trip to Glasgow. Why why why. I'm beginning to hate the Megabus as much as I love it.
  18. Didn't they play in the Moorings sometime?
  19. Oh yes, the Paper Chase are really good. Mind you, I've only heard 'Hide the Kitchen Knives', is their other stuff any better?
  20. Wasn't that Acupunkture? That must've been back in 2003. Time flies.
