Oh dear...ouch. Now I'm going to look at my old 1995 'Official East 17 Annual' and reminisce.
  2. Whoa, I used to hate Raging Speedhorn when their first album came out, but I heard a new song the other day and they sound a lot better. Have to see JT again, I was worried that they were changing, but hell if they're going in an Eden Maine direction, can't be bad thing. Unless in the lyrics department...
  3. 'Placebo' - Placebo 'A Song To Ruin' - Million Dead 'Salvation' - Cult of Luna 'Petitioning the Empty Sky' - Converge 'The New Romance' - Pretty Girls Make Graves
  4. Uhh, I can't even remember...I've got into the habit of borrowing CDs and never buying them. Recently, that's been...Sawtooth Grin and An Albatross. I think Cult of Luna was the last CD I actually bought though.
  5. Heh, we were going to go after Converge too...but went to get pizza instead. Maybe the wrong choice.
  6. Guff...please don't let this be cancelled. I'd physically cry.
  7. Guh, I'm still deliberating on He Is Legend, I really like the songs from 91025 to be honest, but a few of the songs on I Am Hollywood are pretty outstanding. In regards to the other bands mentioned, I suppose ETID and Minus are better, but its always nice to have something new to listen to in my opinion. Sorry, but I'm with him on the Eighteen Visions thing. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it was fashionable to like them, not criticise them...
  8. Good, I have things to buy! But no money...guh.
  9. 'Speakers Push the Air' - 'Good Health' by Pretty Girls Make Graves 'Black Celebration' - 'Black Celebration' by Depeche Mode 'The Saddest Day' - 'Petitioning the Empty Sky' by Converge
  10. So fucking tragic...the whole thing, not just this. I think they should carry on if they can though...maybe just me.
  11. Bit of a late post, but hell, that had to be the best gig of my life. I really enjoyed Allergo, I've thought they were great since the first time I saw them in Drakes about 2 years ago, and they just get better and better, the new songs are awesome. Great stuff. MMw, well, I won't get into this malarkey. Not a personal fan, but I can see why people like them to be honest. Cult of Luna...I don't want to sound ridiculously...ridiculous...but seeing them changed my life, in crazy ways. I cried through their whole set, embarrassingly. And then, I left. In response to all that's been said on this thread, I hate the way these gigs at Moshulu feel. Its so great having these bands here, and so many thanks to Ross and co. for it, but it just seems like as soon as I step in the door, I'm being judged, on what I look like and whether I 'belong' there, and I know I'm not the only one who feels like that. I just wish everyone would make the atmosphere a bit better, the way Moshulu gigs used to be. But saying that, I guess we can't have everything.
