  1. As I've been reading the thread dozens of chocolate bars have been mentally shortlisted, and then rejected. Finally I have chosen: Those ones with two biscuits with chocoloate in the middle! I don't know what they're called though. I know. I'll draw a picture. * * * It's not a very good picture but does anyone know what it's called? I also missed out the s on biscuit in my haste to find out its name
  2. "Elaborate, complex thought and magnificent skill were required. (For example, notice the precise cutting that took place to create the "mustache/mouth" illusion)"
  3. I say we should have an 80s night, exactly as has been suggested.. but with Phil Collins.
  4. Hey, does anyone have any Roland expansion boards (compatible with the XP series) kicking about that they want to sell? I'm looking for Vintage Synth (SR-JV80-04 I think) and Keys of the 60s and 70s (SR-JV80-08 ) in particuliere. Fanx.
  5. Haha, thanks The newest Teen Girl Squad kicks ass! Strong Bad is my favourite but they all have their moments, like some of Strong Sad's answers on Marzipan's machine!
  6. I heart the Green! I've only seen them twice, and they didn't really sound the same the second time as the first, but I enjoyed both sets much, and the album is rad... they make great atmospheric type stuff that you can kind of daydream through but it also has a very unique style so it's interesting if you actually pay attention to it.. I'd continue but I'm not very good at descriptions. That's my take on it anyway. I can imagine that not everybody would be into it though. Either way, they're playing on the 19th at the Lock-up
  7. What? Is that a criticism of me or Richant?! *fume* BleugghhhI have more scene points than you!!!
  8. I heard that if you get too many Socre points they'll make you drink poison for corrupting the youth of Athens.
  9. aint_it_fun: Woah... I thought for a second that you were some amazing Dashingly Handsome person who would be a wonderful friend for another Rather Dashing person I know. Who else would say Voici mon visage? Then I figured out that nobody would. There can be only one... Richant!
  10. Does cereal really help you sleep? I never sleep enough so I recently developed a new plan: I wear exactly the right level of clothing in bed so that my body doesn't need to do any thermoregulation. That way, my time in bed will be more efficient at replenishing my energy stores, since less will be used up. If it works I'm thinking about expanding the plan to include osmoregulation and dream control - if I fall asleep thinking about something really boring then I'm less likely to dream about something interesting, thus decreasing energy used to produce hormones which are released during interesting dreams, and energy to produce imagination which controls them. We never have any nice cereal. My eyes scan the shelf. [Or, if the narrator only has one eye, "My eye scans the shelf."] Oats. Sultana bran. Shreddies. Weetabix. Hang on - Shreddies?! My heart skips a beat. I grab for the box. It's empty. It was Peter Gabriel's birthday yesterday Okay, here are some cereals to help you sleep: Snore'n Flakes (sp?) Beddies Snorridge. Hahaha.... Imagine if that was your name Ummm . . .
  11. Fair enough. I guess it's not the most interesting job and/or that he has to see lots of neds' shenanigans in there every week.
  12. BK would be better, but they never have any strawberry shakes. Do they even do strawberry shakes? Funny how they always seem to have chocolate and vanilla. KFC is nice too, except I don't think they do milkshakes at all. And all that stuff about how their burgers are seagull carcasses with massive pustules and stuff, and the Coke is actually liquidised rats' tails. As though liquidised rats' tails would be that colour o_O Then there's the positioning: McDonalds near BHS gives you a boring-ish view onto Union Street, but have you seen the really scary guy that works in there? He's always there on Friday or Saturday night, and he just stands behind that thing that they keep the burgers tepid in, peering over at the customers, menacingly, and with bad intent, I'm sure. KFC gives you hardly any view at all. Burger King is the best because if you sit facing out onto the bit outside the Bon Accord Centre, there is lots of interesting havoc outside, and you can call those pervy old men that look at your legs pervy old men. The best would be a KFC wrap thing, with a McD's strawberry shake and BK fries, in Burger King's premises. Kentucky McKing, or something. Ooh, then it's like MC King; the guy on the KFC symbol could release some fast food beats.
  13. Hookers Green The Downroads Johnny's Funky Kollosus S'about it, really.
  14. Dag... I bought a poverty one (and apparently donated 50p more than everyone else that has one - grr) but I just keep it in my pocket. Enough of this ostentatious righteousness.
  15. There's a guy they call Hog and he's smelly, We ignited the hairs on his belly, He was feeling quite silly, And cut off his willy, And his name was Scotty and it was true. Progressive Limericks... it's still as funny as first time, though, right? Right?
  16. That's probably true. But I still think - and I'm pretty honest about this stuff - that they were the best band. The other two were both great, but JFK just seemed to me to have more going on in their songs, and just a more interesting set in general. Still, time is on their side. They will return - better... louder... metaller...
  17. Woah... The CX-3 looks rad I love that Nord Electro too, but I decided against it actually because I'd rather get a workstation and also am doing major budgeting Actually I just got an XP-50 cheap off ebay. I'm not sure how 61 keys will be, but if it's not enough, then I can always get something else maybe specifically for Hammond emulation, or a mother keyboard and do the thing where it plays off the Roland, through a second MIDI thing, and so I can play one keyboard on piano and one on organ.. or something.. I got it all explained to me last night anyway
  18. If you want to see Tubgirl, look no further than Google Image Search. Go forth and be repulsed.
  19. goatse.cx is still about, I just saw it the other day.. Someone was running a poll on which was worse, that or Tubgirl, but Tubgirl was winning, and umm.. I think she deserves the .. honour
  20. Okej.. I'll go and do some more czeching out then
  21. Hey, Thanks for the replies I never really thought about the software stuff; I've only ever really played piano and am not the most technologically minded person - is it easy to use?
  22. I want to make Hammond sounds Right now I'm looking at a Nord Electro or a Roland XP 50/80 with Vintage Keys of the 60s and 70s expansion. Any suggestions? Cheers, Sophie
  23. Yeah take chemistry.. For me it was one of those subjects where you don't understand what's going on but you try to learn it, and then at some point in about February it all gets pretty easy. Now Advanced Higher... But if you can take human bio instead, go for it! It's so much easier!
  24. Y'wank Lucy, you looked great! Ally looked rad too and Geoff ...
