  1. Don't think so... Just PS2 I thought. And PC.
  2. XBox is better, it's got more memory and goes faster and stuff. For football, Fifa games are good.. most people say Pro Evo Soccer is better but I'd go for Fifa, and for shooting... um... I don't do that much shooting but Halo is lots of fun (or Halo 2, I suppose, but I prefer Halo) and I think Splinter Cell is a shooting game too and people seem to like it. Anyway, now no doubt a stampede of gamers will tell you why the PS2 is better...
  3. When I went I stayed on a campsite just off the main road into the city, they had really cool triangular prism shaped mini chalets, and it was a bus and then a tram into town if I remember correctly. Maybe not what you're looking for but it is cheap! Prague's lovely though, the castle, the bridge over the Vltava and Staromestske namesti (couldn't remember the name but looking at a map I think it was there) are nice and also some of the little side streets. Dag, yo.. I can't wait to go back there, we're going in July You have to check out the national dish as well, it translates literally to pork-dumplings-sauerkraut and I'm not sure what it is in Czech but it contains the word knedlicky
  4. Age: old enough to remember, but only just, sitting in the back seat being short enough that the seatbelt took a direct route across mon visage: Simon and Garfunkel - Greatest Hits (I thought the Boxer was about 'Five-a-live!') The Beatles - The Red Album Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms Blondie - dunno which album The Corries - fuck knows, I just know that there were braes at Killiecrankie-o. Most of which I then neglected during my voyage through Aaron Carter, 911, A1, Travis, System of a Down, the Grim Northern Social and Genesis.
  5. This waterproof poncho, which is actually my mum's but sometimes I put it on and run around the house pretending to fly and stuff. I found a picture of the same design on ebay: I kind of like it.
  6. I didn't click on it.. last virus that went round was a dot pif as well, whatever that is.
  7. It's gonna be awesome! If you haven't seen them before, you'll (probably) love them, and if you saw them last year, the new stuff is rad too! I heard that if you don't go you get sat on.
  8. In a rockpool on the West Coast somewhere... My sister's is funnier because we used to play this game called Picking Mushrooms where we'd walk around the room and when we had a fart brewed up we would bend over and say 'oh, here's a mushroom' or words to that effect and pretend to pick a mushroom but also squeeze out the rectal gas, and one time she followed through. Hahaha... I just remember my dad yelling, "How could you not have known what it was?" She was about 3 or 4. But still
  9. Subway bun! Salami! Cheese! Peppers! Cucumbers! Lettuce! Sweet Chilli Sauce! Onions! Ready salted crisps! All arranged into a mnemonic in case you want to order one but don't have a bit of paper to write it down: SbSCPCLScsRsc Pu-rreemium
  10. I get satisfaction from knowing that my record collection / whatever's in my CD player is better (or.. equal to, I suppose, occasionally) than what everyone else is listening to. I mean, most people would disagree whole heartedly, I'm sure, but hey, it's my ego.
  11. No joke... It's not for me, it's for my dad. Apparently it's sold out and if I can find tickets I get a money reward. So yeah... Daniel O'Donnell at the AECC on April 2nd - anyone got a couple o'tickets? :O
  12. Fair point, Dave. I only really buy old albums so I thought of that not.
  13. A crisp sandwich. Ready salted; white bread. What's your favourite night time snack?
  14. But on vinyl you hear the music better, it has a deeper sound and you can pick up on things that CD dulls down. So it is about the music, but the sound quality improves the music!
  15. Or if rigor mortis hadn't set in! It'd be like a short, fat tapeworm.
  16. Sorry to hear that DC (I'm assuming you did like your dog, even if you're not as affected as your mum). I'd be heartbroken if my little Muttley died Mo-Ha just reminded me of a pet story - one of our chickens was diagnosed with avian TB about four years ago after growing this big ol' scab on her eye (it covered her eye completely and kept growing), and she was given two weeks to live. Well the growth just grew and grew until when it was about the size of a marble (which is quite big considering the size of a chicken's head), and then she walked into a wall and it fell off and started again. And she's still alive, she's just a skinny little one eyed hobo chicken that never lays any eggs
  17. Looking For Someone/Dancing with the Moonlit Knight by Genesis 21st Century Schizoid Man/Red by King Crimson (although I always thought One More Red Nightmare would sound good as an opener as well) Speak to Me - Pink Floyd (though somehow I don't think there's anywhere else it could go) Den of Iniquity - Norman Haines Band What's the best album opener? A belter to hook the listener or something more held back to ease them in and lead up to the album's climax? Depends on the album I suppose.
  18. Noo! They'd better start making all the special reissue vinyls now then! But wait. This could be kind of fun... illegal vinyl trading and such. Home pressing machines! Like breweries
  19. Yeah!!!! Aw man' date=' I want some now. Now, now, now, now, noowwww (do do do do do) Now, now, now, now, noowwww, (do do do do do) Now, now, now, now, nowww, (insane guitar solo!) (Peter Gabriel does the old man dance) Woohoo. Thanks. Scene points for Vaya and Alan Cynic [img']http://195.92.226.148/foxs/img_lib/m_triple_bars_15598.jpg
  20. I am not acquainted with this perkins biscuit but it sounds more like the first one. From the top it looks more like a rectangle with rounded corners than a circle, if that's something that allows you to differentiate between the two you suggested.
