  1. Parise isn't having much luck this season - slashed in the face vs the Rangers last year leaving a nice zipper and then last night taking a puck to the face and losing a tooth.
  2. Well it's going to be BOAK - 'BOAK' as it's all about self-titled releases it would seem.
  3. Not done much with the Supra since my last post on this thread apart from drive it and clean it I bought a new clutch: Then I bought a big carbon wing to give a bit more downforce as I was encountering some wheelspin and wobble at speed: The wing doesn't look as nice as the stock offering, but it is solely for purpose so I'm happy with it. It is also interchangeable with the standard spoiler by removing 4 bolts, so I can change back and forth as I wish
  4. Started watching Orange is the New Black on the 23rd. Finished it on the 25th. Enjoyed it. Roll on series 3.
  5. Apologies for that - seems I have too many messages. I'll clear them out. Regardless though, fretwork isn't something that I do I'm afraid! I would always (and do) put my guitars to Jimmy Moon in Glasgow. www.moonguitars.co.uk has his details on there should you need to contact him
  6. Longer scale length to provide improved tension at lower tunings (baritones are commonly between 26.5" & 28" scale length and tuned to B from factory) is it really!
  7. Good opener for the Wild. Solid in game 2 as well. 2 shutouts is a strong start, but we'll see how depth treats this season.
  8. I prefer using a head and cab for the versatility of utilising different cab types and different speaker configurations depending on where I am (of course it depends on what is available). Though I'm considering changing out to a rack preamp and poweramp arrangement so that I can change things about that little bit more.
  9. I have one of those Stagg 688s. I've never yet used it and probably won't. Make me an offer if you want it
  10. I can't wait to be able to play football again.
  11. Spell-check once you have put it together. Also, decent formatting so that it is easy to navigate and highlights relevant/worthwhile points is a huge help. It is much better to do that than just have a big block of poorly formatted text which doesn't really do any favours when it comes to picking things out quickly especially if their are grammar & seplling mistakes.
  12. Here you go: http://www.aberdeen-music.com/topic/47879-pickup-purchasing-help/?p=676602
  13. Nope - the ZW set is just an 81 and 85. They are exactly the same pickups as buying separately. The only difference is the fact that you get all of the bits and pieces to make up a 'set'. If you want to know about the differences between the 81 and 85 when comparing against each other, I wrote a huge post on here about that ages ago. I can dig it out if need be.
  14. The difference was just really that the Zakk Wylde set came with 4 long shaft pots for installation into a Les Paul as well as all of the other necessary parts (output jack, battery cable etc.).
  15. I'd recommend Jimmy Moon of Moon Guitars in Glasgow. 0141 638 2794. I had a guitar built by him in 2004 and it was great. Have had fretwork done to one of my other guitars in the past 6 months, again excellent workmanship and reasonable price.
  16. My only reservation with the idea of Sansa is that it was very 'lucky' that the cup was kicked and rolled over to where she was. So couldn't have been pre-planned too easily given that happened. I thought it was something to do with the pie as well. I haven't watched it again yet though to see if anyone else ate any of it before he croaked. First thought was Olenna as well.
  17. Obviously I'm not the person to actually answer your question, but just for future: [ b ] Moon Moon [ / b ] Put that without the spaces and it will appear in bold. This can be done from your phone if you so desire
