That happened to someone at work recently. It's connected to Word (Outlook uses bits of Word for emails). In Word 2007 goto the Office button, then Word Options at the button. Then Advanced from the left hand side and then the top option should be "Typing replaces elected text", make sure there is a tick in it. For Word 200\2003 I think you need to go to Tools>Options and then the steps are similar.

No its an N95. I declined my free upgrade to take up o2's simplicity offer which meant the cut the cost of my contract in half and gave me free web minutes on top of my standard 500min\txts free a month. So I'd either have to upgrade, get a new phone free and go back to my old contract rate (an extra 15 a month = 180 over the year) or fork out for a PAYG phone to replace it and because I use my N95's maps and email feature a lot i'd have to fork out a decent amount for a higher end phone.

Just managed to fix my phone, probably saved me a few hundred quid on a new one. Charging pin inside the phone had broken, managed to get my hands on an old broken phone from the work, opened up both phones and swapped the charging units over. First time I've ever taken a phone apart so took me a while to do but delighted I gave it a go.

Bastard exhaust muffler fell off the car this morning and it now sounds like a boy-racer style Nova (or whatever the kids drive these days). Time to bite the bullet and get a new car methinks, it's still under MOT and qualifies for the scrappage scheme so may as well cash in before it ends. Anyone know if the car has to be in full working order to qualify for the scrappage scheme or will a valid MOT be OK? Don't want to spend cash getting a new muffler if there's no point.

Picked up Mass Effect for a 10 in Asda a few months ago but unfortunately Modern Warfare 2 has meant i've barely scratched the surface of it. It seemed pretty good, if a bit fiddly at times. I think i'll dust it down and get back into the swing of it this weekend.
