  1. If the napalm one does loops ( as opposed to allowing an effects loop) I'll take it!!
  2. Paul from Coast is currently playing in Pablo (ex APB) I think. 18 Wheeler did OK...Oasis were 'discovered' by Alan McGee supporting them at King Tut's. I played bass in a band supporting Coast & 18 Wheeler at Drummonds.......it was scary.
  3. Me too.....I've been a regular in all 4 shops since it opened.
  4. Me too....usually by doing a second vocal and cross-fading between tracks at the appropriate points.
  5. Whatever I did it wasn't deliberate!?( I just remember enjoying them, and there being a 'record company' buzz about them, then not hearing about them.
  6. I saw them a few times...Mart plus 2 keytar-toting non-males, if memory serves correctly. The Cuts were almost signed too, weren't they?
  7. I liked the request for 'Doberman' at the recent Seas, Starry gig!
  8. I sometimes use that wee guyatone delay.....simple but effective!
  9. I got mine from Lakeland a few years ago.....dunno if they still have them though.
  10. Great bails of fire! Great!! Bailey's on fire..........um....pyre! *add your own 'ashes' joke*
  11. Who all played? I didn't come down after the match, due to the wet night/laziness. Glad it went well though.
  12. I'd be up for that, if it's still available (had to fit a bass string to a gtr recently, for some low-bowing action)
  13. Current hate....having a sore leg after I sliced my inner thigh with a stanley knife whilst fitting a thumb-piano & contact mike inside a telly tubbies musical box. First thought was annoyance at making a hole in the jeans, then the oozing blood reminded me that it might be serious, what with major arteries in the general region...but it's just a deep, sore cut
  14. I have 2 of those...and they are very handy (apart from cleaning the grounds out after)
  15. Damn...clashing with the Scotland match! Might pop down later.
  16. I'm too scared to read Dave's review....the last one of the Tunnels gig was fine because we set out to do an atonal / agressive set, but we meant last night's one to be a more peaceful aural journey, and not the bumpy rollercoaster it turned out to be. However the sound problems were, I think, mostly of our own making (eg me getting my leads in a tangle etc through being disorganised), and don't blame Claire or Dave, who are both lovely and helpful. The mood of the evening was great, so I hope I didn't spoil that too much!
  17. Saw him at the Music Hall in the 70s...think it was supporting Rory Gallagher, but my memory isn't so great.
  18. I dunno...2 teams of mice would be different, if nothing else. Rat Rovers v Mouserwell?
  19. Really enjoyed the rest of the night, but big apologies for our set being so crap/different from the original intention.
  20. Wish I had a sense of rhythm
