  1. I'm there right now How about tomorrow (Wed) about noon?
  2. Oh, thanks! In that case I'll buy it, if it's still available.
  3. I'd take the mr-8 if it takes ordinary memory cards (easy to buy locally).
  4. I was once at a show there before it closed! the best bit was this guy.....
  5. I would second the Drummonds suggestion...you should meet a like-minded crowd.
  6. The latest online Ptolemaic Terrascope has a couple of K Cynics/Matricarians reviews... Terrascope Reviews for March 2011
  7. I know it's a naff term, but I was wondering if anyone else liked a bit of the stranger end of folk/psych....stuff like PG Six, Meg Baird, Stonebreath, Sharron Kraus etc
  8. Like it!! I was getting so desperate I was considering Murdo McLeod, because he's got 'rum' in his name, backwards.
  9. Hmmm....all I can get is 'I fought Denis Law, and Denis Law won'
  10. Me too..seafood & fungi love.
  11. I'm looking for an mp3 player with more than 16gig, if you have one?
  12. I recognise that....Wallace & Grommit, right?
  13. She still won't let you back in, so hang on to your bed min!
  14. You sure that's all in the correct order?
  15. If it's alerting folks around the world to bands you like who are local, then that can't be bad....or can it????
  16. I wanted to see Amber, but couldn't go last night...and I'm in Glasgow on 3rd March...damn!
  17. Accordion (not for too long though), then a dreadful nameless acoustic, then a Columbus bass from Middleton's Music.
  18. It's usually one act for an hour, starting at 1, I think. I've done it once, but it's usually better quality than that (eg Rodrigo y Gabriela). Last time I went it was Craig Davidson...a great way to spend an hour
  19. I did remember that....but in times of desperation I used to get my pals to get the free second lot and have my own second serving followed by theirs. No wonder the belly increased.
  20. Belmont St went down the pan when the first pubs opened. It used to be just fine when it had the antique shop where Drummonds is, the paper shop across the road which sold Oz, IT etc and the fishing tackle shop....and the ballroom (which I think was part of the English Club, and is still there!). Or in even older days when it had the radio station and roller-skating rink. Radar's was OK with the 'as much as you can eat' spaghetti offer though
