  1. buy my stuff, throw some offers down! SD Distortion is provisionally on hold.
  2. Updated Prices + got the following for sale SD Distortion Bridge Pickup (Black, Non F-Spaced) - offers MXR Carbon Copy - 80 (if this sells before the Malekko then the Echo 600 will stay and vice-versa) Modtone Aqua Chorus - 50
  3. Bought a Malekko Heavy Industry Chicklet Reverb Pedal yesterday.
  4. Have you checked out a company called dwarfcraft devices as devi sold a good load of her designs to the guy that runs that company. Malekko Heavy Industries are another lot I love.
  5. Right, I wasn't wanting to flog any of this stuff like this but I've been informed that my car's engine is about to go boom so I need to get cash together fast for it. First up on the chopping block is an ESP Original Series Maverick built in the Sado Custom Shop in 2003. Quite Rare and I haven't seen another 24fret version in person. Specs are as follows; Alder Body Maple Neck (Bolt-On) Rosewood Fretboard (24 Extra Jumbo Frets) Seymour Duncan JB (Bridge) and Vintage Staggered (Neck) Volume, Tone and 3-Way Blade Pickup Selector Original Floyd Rose Tremolo It's got 2 small dings near the Trem caused by the Trem Arm knocking it whilst in the SKB Hard Case. Neither are down to the wood. Installed some Strap Locks and I'll throw in a Leather Strap as well. (anyone interested in buying please email me at healthofmind [at] hotmail [dot] com for more pics) I'm looking for offers of around 850 for this guitar. Please don't try and lowball me as I won't reply and I'd rather catch the bus for a month rather than give this guitar away for a lot less than it's worth. Next up is a TC Electronics Nova Modulator here's a link to the sales blurb. Found that I use my small chorus pedal on its own more often. Cheapest I've found them for on ebay is 145. I'm looking for 120. Doesn't run on Batteries but comes with a Wall mount PSU. Still got the original box too. Also for sale is a Malekko Echo600 Bright Delay Pedal, a rare find that I managed to acquire whilst I was over in Japan early this year. Another pedal that only runs on mains voltage but I bought a PSU for it that I'll also include. The 3 controls provide complete control over the time (600ms), regeneration (almost infinite) and mix of the dry/wet signal. In a stereo set-up, the 2nd wet output allows the delay regen to naturally fade out after you turn it off. However the second output is switchable between wet and dry so you can run a second amp complete dry. I run it in mono and it sounds great, cuts through a mix brilliantly but this is worth more than my MXR Carbon Copy. Looking for 150 for it. Last up is a Boss DF-2 Super Feedbacker and Distortion. A Discontinued Pedal (and has been for some time) reasonably rare and I'm looking for 60. Basically a Boss SD-1 with a feedback loop on it that's activated by stepping and holding the switch whilst the pedal's on. Thanks for looking. Mark
  6. GIIIIEFF! That was a sterling gig! Fraser, I wouldn't worry - your set sounded good out in the bar! DBA and BBA were incredibly good, just wished BBA had played Project.
  7. That's actually not such a bad idea really, got a few pedals that would benefit from that I feel!
  8. Whilst we wait for the op to return I'll say in his defence that he never said it was bought online... especially with the way he worded the statement 'take it back' instead of 'send it back.' Fingers crossed a string change does the trick. If not then I'll recommend HateEvent for a set-up.
  9. +1 What classes are you in incidentally, I'm still doing the Phase1 classes and started the Kettlebell Classes with Ray on a Sundays. Went to the Combat Kettlebells and was completely outta my depth! Baby Steps there hehe.
  10. QFT, if you're into your more heavy metal recordings then this might tickle your fancy Toxic Grind Machine One guitarist into a POD and a vocalist, computer does the rest.
  11. man the fuck up Scorge, buy your share like you said you were thinking about last Thursday in the Tunnels and then invite me round for a knees up! I'll take you out for a spin in the new wheels as payment!
  12. Think I've got the better idea by fucking off to Thailand for Hogmanay.
  13. Just bought a late 80's/early 90's Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, hopefully grabbing either an EQ or an Overdrive in the near future and a Framus Dragon 2x12 too.
  14. warsaw pact/ion storm was comedy gold. how many times did we play "for whom the bell tolls" at that jam? Anyway - it'll be good to hear what's been lurking in your head for this one! hopefully back onshore tomorrow - this has been a proper pain in the arse. How many bands now James?
  15. Bass guitars and amplification. High end professional bass guitar equipment from The Bass Merchant, Essex, UK you might want to have a look on there and see all the shiny toys!
  16. Ahhh, fair play - apologies for the misunderstanding!
  17. Wasn't exactly a massive fan of the band that did 3 covers and "borrowed" a few riffs blatantly when we were supposed to be showcasing original material!
  18. I know Dan, hence why I said it gave me a rather good soundalike tone.
  19. I know that the guys down at R&B would be able to do it, I don't even know if BM's would as I never really pay much attention up there.?(
  20. The nearest competitor I can hear tonally is the Diezel Herbert at low volumes, obviously not _as_ good but it's pretty close, gives me a decent "Hail Destroyer" by the Cancer Bats tone. The tubes in it really need to be cranked to shine (as I found out when I was trying it out in the guitar store I bought it in and some fucker before me had dimed the volume and gain and it nearly took my head off my shoulders!) but it still sounds nice when it's quiet. It starts to get far more aggressive when you start giving it beans and it responds fantastically to picking dynamics. A rather nice clean tone on it as well.
  21. The new updated rig; now to get a decent cab for the amp head! Also looking at some Devi-Ever FX, a MXR GT-OD + Carbon Copy Delay, Red Witch Empress Chorus/Vibrato, an ISP Decimator Pro-Rack G and a Peterson VS-R Tuner
  22. The most expensive and famous postage stamps of the world You should show her that and ask her to reconsider! o_O
  23. THIS is the reason why I'm so confused that Dave Mustaine still gets any endorsements at all! But everything else you've said sounds spot on for what needs to be done for an endorsement.
