  1. ah - now see that's where still living at home pays off. I aint got many overheads - just my car and some maintenance stuff, works out cheaper for me than living in town, plus I'm fortunate that my parents work in town and where I work is on the route in so I get free lifts.
  2. working a part time job and saving like a bastard is going to be my top secret plan; going to tokyo but planning on going off at the start of september and going midweek to midweek to reduce costs, plus trying to buy decent package deals/hunt for cheap flights and hotels yourself also reduces the costs.
  3. Sea Fresh beer is another winner on the day! not gonna take my CD player along this time because I managed to lose the button that ejects the CD's out that last time - admittedly that means there's less to go wrong this time but still and Rachie's correct - hobbit's are tough little buggers!
  4. If it's on a decent day I'll make a reappearance and see who can remember me from the original beach party! think LynDsey, Rhiannon and Dan all got a lift from me IIRC...
  5. indeed Mordred, it was at the QMU Psycho Dalek, Sylosis and Murder One were the support, sound was a bit ropey for all the bands but PSI were absolutely immense! the set list was as follows; Wafer Thin Scene This Triad Eight Days Microwaved Virus Hidden Agenda My Kind Genius Keep It Clean We Know Whats In It For Me Down Please Sir WYSIWYG shame they didn't have the time to play Shutdown or Un-United Kingdom but there was a curfew for a club night
  6. I'm going to Pitchshifter tomorrow night *dances* can't WAIT! looking forward to seeing Murder One as well.
  7. oh man that's a _lovely_ finish on it! keep up the good work!
  8. since you clearly aren't capable of following a few links I thought I'd do it for you... http://www.vertigoalley.com/files/tab_simpsons_unplugged/index.php and here's his mario one too http://www.vertigoalley.com/files/tab_super_mario_unplugged/index.php
  9. a loose analogy would make a VST akin to a Stompbox - i.e it's something you run your sound through to make it worse/better/different. The more knowledgeable people of the board will be able to explain it better.
  10. haha - that was doing the rounds last night in game... www.warcraftmovies.com for heaps more of them
  11. nah - that's my stamping ground - it's nearly all pulled down now and is being redeveloped into Luxury apartments. and Ryan has already been in there for photos as that's where Starfall's old photos were taken.
  12. Bryn beat me to it, the Emu 0404 is fantastic value for money and left several more expensive sound cards and their manufacturers spluttering about in amazement when it was first released. the M-Audio Audiophile should be around the same price to buy as well, what I've got in this pc.
  13. haha! you're shameless! still not sold your flute then?
  14. I've got the Man with No Name Remix of Pandemonium, interested in hearing the original!
  15. it does work, and then they start sending you service messages... bastards. wish they'd just FUCK OFF.
  16. with both of you guys. irks me in the same way as that guy who went to the media because he got refused entry from Soul because he was wearing a kilt (not part of the official dress code) and then went "I wasn't really bothered as lots of other bars let us in".. if that's the case why the hell did you get the media involved you imbecile?
  17. it would help if you could tell us which side of town you are on?
  18. Aahhh... Michael Angelo's Windmill. incidentally he's had half of that guitar stolen. the top two are seven strings and the bottom two are Six's
  19. and since the reject didn't actually help properly. www.getfirefox.com
