  1. 'Tis a pleasing farming simulation which is way more fun than it sounds on paper or PC monitor. Have to pick myself up a copy after a minor spot of saving...
  2. Yeah I meant to check this out after getting mp3s from the Undergroove website but didn't get back until just now I'm afraid
  3. It's the dancing thing. That's all it is I think - spoke to a couple of people tonight and seems all it is is that Drakes doesn't have a dancing vibe to it. Moshulu offers us the space (and the dark ) to spaz out to tunes whether inferior to what's played at Valhella or not.
  4. This'll be good stuff - hope plenty of people are coming along.
  5. Are Drakes doing advance tickets for all gigs from now on? It's nae wonder you're pushing this so much - didn't realise that Deadloss were playing but hopefully I'll be there (never seen you guys yet I'm afraid)
  6. Yeah I know but I couldn't make it along. Was pretty disappointed about that one let me tell you.
  7. There's no doubt a huge crowd will go to see them but it's just that the two of them are usually sorta squashed in the middle of the stage and it just doesn't seem like a headlining act. If it was one of the other stages then cool but the main stage for me needs that little bit extra like some pyro or loads of charisma or something
  8. I thought it might be 'Abigail Silk' as it's the only one I could think of offhand that was explicity about a person. That's pretty damn cool though to have someone as good as UD write a song about you and put it on their album!
  9. They're rocking live but not the kind of band I'd pick to finish things off. Second from the top of the bill I can see but not topping it. Whaurs AC/DC as the rumours said eh?
  10. Caught all them at Concrete Jungle last year and was really impressed with them all - with The Used, Finch, LTJ etc. on the main stage (and not mentioning the bands on Concrete etc.that I missed) it was a pretty damn rocking lineup in my opinion. Here's hoping that this year's the same
  11. They sound pretty cool when you describe them - I hope to be there early enough to see them for myself and almost looking forward to Pigeon John as much as Ugly Duckling now Nice listening to list btw - shame Four Tet's not playing Aberdeen this year for Triptych.
  12. Aaah they're on Epitaph aren't they? I know who it is now and agree they're pretty good. Now it's annoying me who the hell I was thinking about in the first place...
  13. Who? And why? And which song?
  14. Did they get The Beatsteaks last year or am I just making that up? I seem to remember being quite impressed with them on a sampler CD and a video I caught on MTV2 if it's the right band I'm thinking of.
  15. The excitement grows! Listening to 'Taste The Secret' is kinda distracting me from this assessment as I can't concentrate for looking forward to it
  16. Not a fan then Rob? Presumably won't be doing Glastonbury after all the hubbub over how much they/their management wanted to play it this year. Are they?
  17. It might be interesting to see that tribute band but starting one based on a band that's still touring their first album seems slightly ridiculous methinks. EDIT:Site looks really good and holy crap! It's Love Fist from GTA that are The Darkest!
  18. No one mentioned running up and down stairs when this was first announced.. *grumble grumble ooh me back*
  19. Hence why I become a fuzzy, bubbling mass of excitement around festival time! Leeds/Reading in particular caters to so many different styles over the three days that it's unreal! Makes for an expensive CD collection though. Aargh my wallet!
  20. Hehehe - sorry I just 'got' the thread title. Made me laugh. Sunshine in an otherwise dark and gloomy computing room at uni!
  21. Well it's not there now but it was in late January! That's not so bad then - I thought the gig was this year and I'd missed it so I feel a bit better but shake my fist in rage at Fopp's staff! *shake**shake*
  22. All my confusion came from a poster in Fopp that had Darkest Hour down for a November show (I didn't think that Drakes booked that far ahead) and the Fopp staff knew nothing about it and I kept forgetting to ask at Drakes and didn't come on here and was generally uninformed. I missed three good bands. I am sad. :'(
  23. I'd say no - there's too much good old rock and metal on the Moorings jukebox
