It's a really cliche book to do, you could probs find a mountain of info and essays on it from google. Is George Orwell meant for younger people or is it just not that very well written? I'm never sure.

It is not classic or 'perfect' in the sense that the writer is talking about. It doens't bear resemblance to the other artists in his lists except maybe zepplin, for being hellishly boring. He's right about Stewart Copeland, they don't make em like they used too!

The Needles are just another boring immitation of an immitation. People go on about the local scene being so good just because bands like the Needles genuinely write songs that are pretty much at the same level of some very famous modern acts. But then you gota remember, this guitar orientated scene is totally stale and boring at the moment, so it doesn't take groundbreaking talent to compete with the likes of razorlight, snow patrol etc.
