  1. Not really but it certainly warmed the place up. It was fucking freezing
  2. A tree was cut down for this and think how much more are for fucks like this to waste considerable amounts of time!
  3. Not really alot of crazy places, normally my bed and the respective partner's beds but I suppose unusual places have been in a shower, a garage and the dining room floor of my exs at bout 2:30am.
  4. Chimaira have announced they're playing download as well. Hopefully AC/DC wont play but Megadeth will.
  5. I wonder if the writers know that Cradle of Filth are actually a real band or if they thought of something incredibly cliche and it was a coincidence. They keep going on about Stench of Death who are fictional (at least, I've never heard of them). It was like the episode of Friends where the girl who tried to buy the same wedding dress as Monica said her fiance wanted "the heavy metal band, Carcass" to play their wedding. I doubt the Friends writers knew that a band called Carcass actually existed and just went for something cliche.
  6. It is pretty shit scary!! I would describe it as The Sixth Sense meets The Bone Collector. I woulsnt be surprised if I've seriously bruised my girlfriends hand.
  7. The only good thing about it is that Hedman is a Commodores fan. Brilliant! Would never buy it though, its complete utter pish! Wish I played for them, it would be interesting to see Cradle of Filth in amongst Stone Roses and Nelly. Also, JJ, he wasnt implying anything but given the way you behave on these boards, I don't blame anybody for believing that you would get offended at a small joke.
  8. Does she actually have any material of her own? All she seems to do is cover Nirvana and Slayer.
  9. What a fantastic night. Due to Shadows Fall pulling out Mnemic were moved to main support and a second support act were added to the bill but with a distinct lack of charisma and crowd participation, End of Everything were instantly forgettable. Mnemic came on brimming with energy and enthusiasm and only let go of it to admire respect to the late great Dimebag Darrell after the crowd chanted PANTERA! Fear Factory arrived shortly afterwards with the words RIP DBD on their PA and a picture of the great man. The set-list read: Slave Labor Cyberwaste Shock Edgecrusher Demanufacture Self Bias Resistor Martyr (Dedicated to Dimebag) Bite The Hand That Bleeds Archetype Drones Scapegoat Replica They didnt look like 100% effort was being put in but that was entirely understandable after the Dimebag tradgedy and perhaps an element of fear over a copycat act after they were involved in the controversial break-up then reunion WITHOUT founding member Dino Cazares. On the whole though fantastic gig. Cant wait to see Megadeth in the same venue in 3 months time!!!!!
  10. They do seem to show it around lunch time on xmas day. Its absolutely(sp?) fantastic. The sad thing what a tortured and depressed man Eric Morecambe was. He put so much effort in to making sure he didnt disappoint his fans that he drove himself to the brink of insanity several times. Nobody in showbiz has that commitment or passion anymore. Even the great Steve Coogan is hit or miss.
  11. Sad, sad fuckin day! I went through secondary school listening to Pantera and it just feels like I've lost part of my life. Its really strange. Don't see why Phil Anselmo is getting stcik from members of the forums. He wasn't to know this was going to happen and he was saying what he felt in the Metal Hammer interview but I can bet you he is devastated. You don't spend 8-9 years in a band with somebody and don't care if they die or not, regardless of petty arguments and fall-outs.
  12. What a night that was. I loved the way Cloud removed his gloves first before asking me "What the hell I thought I was playing at?" I probably deserved a punch for telling to 'Fuck off', though? The magenta Fear Factory T-shirt was out on force on Saturday. And it will be again this Saturday when I see the great lads themselves.
  13. I think the following year was far superior
  14. Ever stop me at the door of The Bassment again asking for ID when I'm bursting for a piss (when you know fine I'm 19 and you've known for quite a few....'happy' years) and I'll feel quite happy to openly relieve myself on you....you cunt!
  15. I much prefer moshulu to exodus although I dont mind the latter. Just one thing, why do two-thirds of the people in exodus look like they want to be members of Jet? It's sickening! but apart from that, no problem. Also Cloud, I agree with Jake, it is pretty easy to pull in there. But if you reply to a girl asking how you are with "I'm FIN", she might already have suspicions your weird before the poncho story confirms it.
  16. Myself and Mr. Demon of the Fall saw it. We were asked by a policeman if we were waiting for a bus, to which we replied "No". He told us to move on then as there was nothing to see! I fucking beg to differ mate!
  17. Ross, I heard a whisper of Cradle of Filth being pursued to play. Any truth or was it just a mindless rumour? I would LOVE to see them play. Saw them at Donnington but were only on for half an hour. A full set in the intimate Moshulu would kick so much ass.
  18. The United States of Canada, that slayed me!
  19. http://gallery.aberdeen-music.com/data/500/705Ronz_with_Kerry_King-thumb.jpg Can you guess which one? Is it Ronz coming along with FUBAR or Kerry King with Slayer? You just never know. If Bush can get a 2nd term, Slayer could easily be playing The Broadstraik Inn at 10pm tomorrow night!!!
