Aye Pink Grease and Liars were funny as hell ,their drummer was like Harry Enfields scouser ,he he he.

I will come down and give a half hour demonstration of how NOT to play a kit ,he he he. Imagine THAT,half an hour of me doing a drum solo,I'd probbably have a heart attack, nevertheless, I fancy a go on a big kit for a change.Anyone up for learning the guitar to our set and going for it?.

Hi ,I want a job at T in the park.I can roadie,drive,play drums at a seconds notice,and generally be extremely helpful and get stuff done,I have LOADS of experience as a roadie,promoting,managing,gigging and just want to do something other than get pissed and stoned in a field for a few days .

I think Marrillion are PISH,but....I once interviewed Fish AKA Derek Dick ,and he was an excellent guy,I wouldn't hear a bad word against him,he is not the fool he is portrayed to be in the media,and as an ex journo type managed to illustrate his sense of humour,seriousness and intelligence,quit clearly with a rather lengthy interview which was broadcast on radio,personal bias apart, GOOD ON EM, it beats working 9 to 5 and being a statistic. Fish had bad feelings about Marillion at that time,has anything changed?.

You want to see drumming like you have never seen? go to see XS RELOCAT IN dR dRAKES this Mon 26th 830-for 9pm I am like a pig in shit even behind the crappiest kit,which I will no doubt have to use, as I only have a Roland TD6 and it doesn't suit the XS RELOCAT songs. I use it with the punk band 16 AGAIN and it's a hoot. My best kit was a TAMA with 8,10,10, ,12,14,16 toms and a 22 kick with double beaters,Paiste hat,remote hat,ride,16,18, fast crashes,a 22 ride and a china boy,with an additional snare and percussion. Nowadays I use the kits in Captain Toms which I would personally set fire to and replace with Tamas if I won the Lotto.

ha ha ha I saw them and thought it was Carter the unstoppable sex machine having just been introduced to the effects of too much drugs and booze,I thought it was an unholy racket,and pretty shambolic,but if you like that sort of thing then you should check out XS RELOCAT at Dr Drakes on Monday the 26th April ,that's THIS Monday.

Yeah man ,it's Biz again,I went to virtually every gig and still do unless I'm at The Lemon tree,Drummonds,Kef,Malt Mill,The Globe,Blue Lamp,Henry Js,Moshulu,The Music Hall,The Union,Pelican,Triple Kirks,some of the Irish bars,reluctantly The Exhibition Centre (it fuc*en sucks),The Beach Ballroom,by the way The Beta Band are playing there soon),and all the other events in parks,like Darius Danesh and all the pre pubescent kiddie pop ,and whatever else happens to be on,having done this for 23 years ,and smoked and drank like a fuc*ker through the LOT,I reckon the grim reaper is bound to show his face sooner rather than later,but know what?,I have had an EXCELLENT time,largely due to promoters like Duncan Hendry,Sharon Drakes,Andy Shearer,Paul Kef,and Hen Drummonds.I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate the effort that has been put into the Aberdeen music scene,wherever I am in the world I am always itching to get back here,THANKS EVERYONE it's been fantastic,Bill AKA Biz. by the way XS RELOCAT are playing Dr Drakes on Monday the 26 ,(THAT'S IN TWO WEEKS), APRIL,just for once,GO OUT ON A MONDAY NIGHT,it probably will not kill you,but it probably will me,the way I play the drums.

Yeah , pretty good site, but you still spelled Alimantado Alimantada! , but only once out of 3 times is pretty good. I agree with the diversity,there are plenty other gigs to be found at Dr Drakes,Drummonds,Kef, The Forum,The Moorings,The Blue Lamp,The Music Hall,Henry J beans,etc etc etc,the Lemon Tree caters very well for a wide variety of artists and punters,and it's worth just turning up and exposing yourself to some weird shit, like Yat Kha for a bit of variety. Is it just me, or are gig prices getting a bit out of hand?

Who won what?I am hung over,I remember The Stacatto set being cool,and Dr Drakes staff being very well turned out,not much else,the food smelled good though.
