  1. does anyone know any pubs in town that run a quiz on a tuesday?
  2. Ghostface Killah is exceptionally gay, not in a homosexual way of course, but in the way that he's claiming Amy Winehouse's You Know I'm No Good as his own; when in fact he just did a couple bits of ©rap on it and therefore it is now his song... featuring her.
  3. can i just say, shit story paul, but thank you for teaching me something... I totally had no idea that washington was there. I know the state is over the other side, but the city always confused me. My American geography truly is appalling.
  4. oh come on, this is all media spin. Yes she said those things but do you for one second really think that the girl is a racist? She's a walking minority, her mum's a one armed lesbian with diminutive intelligence, her father died of a heroin overdose (in a kentucky fried chicken) was black. If anyone is going to be open to people with different backgrounds its her. One thing she is though, is a silly little girl with no real sense of what's going on in the world, she didn't have a good upbringing, she doesn't think before she speaks and when kept in a confined space she allows petty little things to get to her. Yes she was wrong to bully that girl, but none of her actions were ratially driven. The sad thing about this all is that most of the racism that has been seen has been from Danielle - yet another ignorant little girl. If anyone can turn this around it is Jade Goody. It wasn't big, it wasn't clever, but I genuinely believe that this is not the end of things. Give it to the end of the year, she'll be an anti-bullying ambassador, she'll have another book in the works, and possibly the celebrity wedding of the year... with Shilpa Shetty as a bridesmaid.
  5. aye, it was franz... if you track down penny she's probably got a copy of it kicking around since she's prominently featured in it... (well her head anyway)
  6. I was watching The Flintstones' christmas film the other day and they were celebrating christmas, and that set before Jesus, so how could they have been celebrating christmas before he was even born? hmmm, answer that one for me God!
  7. if he re-released mistletoe and wine next february it'd go to number one. i'd bet my soul on it.
  8. not being the musical lothario that cliff is, my opinion may not be as strongly as accepted as his... but, if all he is aiming for is a number on to get his record of each decade, then perhaps releasing yet another single the week before christmas isn't the best idea in the world. if he just wants a number one then why doesn't he just release any odd dross a week when the charts are dead i.e. like february. Just have a look at the release schedule, pick a week where mcfly, westlife, take that or indeed "generic faceless dance act of the week" don't have anything out, and ta-dah there you go cliff.
  9. It's quite spiffing really isn't it. It's taking me a bit to get used to it, but I think I'm going to like it.
  10. oh how i love the internet... Many of Walkers brands were formerly branded under the Smiths Crisps name. This comes from the time when Walkers, Smiths and Tudor were the three main brands of Nabisco's UK snack division with Tudor being marketed mainly in the north of England and Walkers in the south. After the takeover by Pepsico the Tudor name was dropped and the Smiths brand has gradually been phased out in favour of Walkers.
  11. um bongo was relaunced last year as a chilled drink, it came in a plastic bottle. still tasted the same. i think you can still get it in asda.
  12. the new killer's christmas song is pretty damn spiffing.
  13. okay, i've decided to get one. what are my chances getting one this side of christmas? i take it they'll be sold out on release day. where shall i ask.
  14. ace, the chemistry tour was bloody amazing, they actually do know how to put a show on. and surprisingly they actually do sing their tours live. it's almost worth it purely to hear nadine do her irish rap thing, support will no doubt be some sort of television band (x-factor rejects most likely) and a foreign girlband... i would hazard a guess at swedish this year.
  15. I've still to this day yet to discover something that feminists actually like.
  16. no no, it's deceptively hidden under his hat. I've just had a look at his website, and i'm glad I did, his menu's kinda ace. Lil Chris Indeed He dangles, he skateboards, he sits like humpty dumpty. I really don't think there is any end to this boy's talent. (ooh i refreshed again and this time he's got a guitar)
  17. what do you get when you cross a lesbian and a dyke? god, i'm on a roll today with shit jokes that aren't funny (or indeed jokes)
  18. At least he's got a distinctive voice, well maybe not distinctive, but certainly shakey. It's all Jo Whiley's fault anyway, she really is to blame for a lot of things these days. He's harmless though, he's kinda like a little puppy, with his funny hats (and possibly shiny pants) and his little curly hair.
  19. remind me to go see them if they venture up here.
  20. they tend to come out on a friday evening. don't really know why, but it's true.
