  6. i think i can safely say that utopia is the best episode of who since genesis of the daleks. it was absolutley amazing.
  7. Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the 4th October show. I'm kinda surprised they are playing the music hall, I didn't think they were that big. I quite like a couple of their songs, good drunken background noise, but they all look like they need a good scrub. Hmmm.
  8. so... are they actually wasting the time of the police investigating this?
  9. I have to agree with whoever said the herman dune album... But album of the year so far has to be Patrick Wolf's Magic Position. It's gonna take a lot to top it.
  10. vue cinemas are taking bookings for eats for the showing of the live broadcat of the genesis comeback concert, it's quite exciting phil collins is a bit of a fucktard - see his political statements released around the time of 'another day in paradise' however genesis are quite another matter.
  11. as of 6 o'clock when I left there was 1 standing ticket and about 30 seated left...
  12. Half the ticket allocation has gone to ticketmaster and it's agents, half to the aberdeen box office. So, if you are wanting to physically buy then the box office at the music hall is definately selling them, and the tourist information shop will possibly have part of ticketmaster's allocation.
  13. Don't take this to be the gospel truth cause I've not been in today and thus haven't had the final details, but there's a good lot of tickets actually going on sale at the music hall box office for this one, so if you don't manage to get them on the presale fear not. I shall check tomorrow.
  14. It's not the fat that puts me off in the slightest. It's the airpit hair sneaking out from the sides. Physically repulses me.
  15. I highly doubt me + a soldering iron = safe... But thank you, I shall endevour to do so.
  16. yes but nowhere is coming up locally to do it.
  17. I'm loathed to send it away cause it's pretty much fine, but my ipod has stopped playing in stereo, obviously I've tried it with numerous headphones etc. The sound is coming through the left ear but not the right. Does anyone know anywhere locally that would be able to fix it? I don't imagine it can't be that big a problem. I've been on the apple website and basically they'll just give you a discounted new ipod as a replacement but it's still about 200. Thoughts?
  18. there's some costume pictures here... it's nice that they are matching. Clicky
  19. Girls Aloud aren't for kids though really. Surely they are for the gays and those of us that realise that Xenomania have managed to create some of the best pop songs of the last 10 years. I saw the tour last year, and sure there was a good level of raunch, but there was also a comedy value nutty professor who 'created' girls aloud in a lab who was obviously aimed at the children. Don't worry about it, Nadine has good Christian values.
  20. I'm a couple rows behind you, but should be slap bang in the middle. I need a little edge with my electropop.
  21. Rogue Traders, i.e. Izzy from Neighbours is support! Amazing!
  22. Purchase of yorkie bars greatly increased when it ran that not for girls promotion, it was all the young boys that bought it, but we sold a hell of a lot more than we usually did when it was on.
  23. There was not a hope in hell of it winning. It might've done okay, and got 4's and 6's off some of the scandanavian states, but no, it would not 'have won hands down.'
  24. I think Daphne has a little bit of the devil in her.
