I never realised that melody was the be all and end all of music. Maybe some people like songs that fragmented and fucked up rather than "nice" songs with a pretty little melody. Project: Ven Hell are obviously a band that people either love or hate. I like that. And to the guy who associated Jackass with Shellac... YOU ARE A COMIC GENIUS.
The only difference is that this particular girl has hair... She may even have the beard! Any rumours of long lost twins at family reunions, Bri? She lives in Aberdeen... You guys have been so close without even knowing!
Tis a shame... think I'll be in Edinburgh on the 12th. Going down to see Sexu-Al for a bit of a shindig before he comes back. But I might have considered going to this... Might... If only to see one of Richards skinny ties.
Man, this sounds like it could be great fun... We can get a massive group of people down for a party at Maxis after... I like this plan so far! Book it off, Maxwell!
The Miles Davis autobiography is pretty good. It made me realise that jazz musicians were once as crazy as rock musicians. What a crazy bastard. From Joy Division to New Order was also pretty good as well. All about Factory Records... That's an amazing story as well. Written by Mick Middles.
rar are not trying to rip off mclusky, quite obviously. if so where is the prominent bassline and the crazy vocals about dads being better than one another?
Dan, do you remember when Mike and Matt played football when they were young? All those overhead kicks... and now whenever I hear of Mike, I always think "Teddy."
And the only reason you broke through ours last time was a massive deflection. I don't see why we can't win at all. Come on Liverpool! We all know in our hearts that Rooney is a great talent. It's just whether he can control his self-destructive influences. Ferguson is probably the best manager to maintain control over him though.
It's 9.99 in One-Up. Dunno about anywhere else... Like Herod is a complete beast on it. Helicon 2 is lovely as well... May even prefer it to Helicon 1!
finally picked up my copy from the post office today... it's pretty good for what is essentially a live album. superheroes of bmx sounds great as does the 18 minute version of like herod!
