  1. Aye, you guys seem like you've been in hiding for ages. So eric euan to play 4 times a week from now until August, yeah?
  2. I was really considering going to this. I was in Edinburgh anyway but my mates already had their tickets so I would have been sitting on my own. Probably glad I didn't go!
  3. I'm refusing to quote the last part of that post because it was spectacularly embarressing. If I was drunk enough to molest Richard and say that... Well, I'd rather not think about it. At least I met Rach properly (thank god) instead of speaking gibberish. I was vaguely sober at that point of the night. She was a charmer! How was exodus? Moshulu was fun, if only for harrassing Alun.
  4. Sorry Richard... You know I love you. It was only meant to be a gentle caress, but somehow turned into something else entirely. I'll make it up one of these days. Heather got what was coming to her. Only kidding. Sorry Heather. I think I apologised on the night but here it is again. I'm sorry that it hurt... but it was still funny.
  5. I concur. Last night was amazing. Not only were the bands absolutely shit hot, I remembered all my best heckles for Maxi. In fact, I vaguely remember Craig trying to get everyone to shut up because we were all heckling him so much. Class. The bouncers were very Nazi like though. I got told off for throwing one of the tea trays on the stage. IS THAT A CRIMe, PEOPLE!?!?!?!?! I met (and made a fool of myself in front of) Gumpy, Alex, and Rach. Ah, the gibberish. I apologize for my special needs banter. But it was a wonderful night. Laeto were particularly wonderful... and I don't remember much of Moshulu apart from harassing Alun... Did the Fudge chaps even make it there?
  6. Man, that's some good work. I think I lost my phone as well! Although it's probably just at my friends house... Ah, getting so stoned that you can't speak. Beautiful. My mind isn't quite working right yet.
  7. Video camera at the ready. I'm not going to pass out again like that tonight. I can't afford to. I was gonna get cash from the uni finance offices but they closed before i got there! Bastards. So I'm looking for donations or going minesweeping.
  8. Absolutely not. The fudge awards is the highlight of the social calender as far as i am concerned. It's just so wrong but so right. I can't wait to see what Brians outfit is going to be like now. Exciting stuff. The only thing that is stopping me getting drunk right now is the fact that I have an essay to write for 5. Why am I here? Fuck.
  9. To be fair, it's my intention to get you so drunk that you won't be able to stand up when you play.
  10. The Blind Assassin is an absolute classic. Story of the downfall of a Canadian industrialist family in one plot at least... It's rather complex and has several different narratives that only come together at the end. It also has my favourite opening line from a book ever... "Ten days after the war ended, my sister Laura drove a car off a bridge." Classic. Alias Grace is also brilliant. A masterpiece, even. Can't be fucked writing about it though. It won the Booker Prize.
  11. First Series, First Episode. In the cinema... Peter: I got it, that's the guy from Big... Everything he says is a stitch! Tom Hanks: I have AIDS. Peter: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  12. Don't spoil it! I have been looking at this book for a while now... I really enjoyed The Blind Assassin and Alias Grace but I've never been sure about this one... I just think I don't really know what it is about.
  13. i thought that shoulder bags and cardigans were what you guys are all about!
  14. I know... I see you there peeping through the curtains. But you still don't know what I'm doing with my hands.
  15. You grow to hate it when you live here too... Right before you cry yourself to sleep every night of my life.
  16. I taught you well. And I scored all your goals.
  17. remember that night in drakes? i don't. the finest whisky of them all is wild turkey! endorsed by good old hunter himself... you can't go wrong with a 50.5% whisky.
  18. Is there that much to remember? Some crazed lunatic falling around the stage drinking some sort of hobo's whisky!!! That's all i need to remember. Ah... the good old days when he embarassed while alarming regularity... AKA whenever he played a gig!
