It was just before V2001 I believe. Way before the Remote Part was even recorded. I was going to mention it anyway. Idlewild were great (nuts to you, Maxi!) and Aereogramme were absolutely stunning. I'd never heard them before but they were a bolt out of the blue. I remember shouting for joey was particularly insane. I also managed to smash my glasses at this gig... Hmmm... Also, Mogwai at the Barrowlands. I had no control over my voice or body. It was that amazing.

Can you imagine if Arsenal opened a club shop in Manchester? Or Barcelona opened a shop in Madrid? No thanks. Real Madrid opening a shop in Milan? I actually really enjoyed copy_haho last night. They sounded good out of the Moshulu sound system. Can anyone really blame them if they couldn't be fucked playing to FOUR (4) of their friends sitting down at the front? It was a fucking disgrace to be honest because they're a fucking great band. They were definitely the most musically interesting band of the night... Turning 13. Shoot the fuckers. Distophia were quite good. Nothing spectacular but you could definitely hear that they had really worked on both their songs and their sound. A good solid band. Really loved the noise parts as well. Fickle Public were ok. I didn't think that they were particularly great but they got the best crowd response. Most of the people were there to see them, I think. I just wasn't that keen to be honest, but maybe that was just last night. Would not mind seeing them again.

I don't know what you mean... This gig was damn good fun though. Sidca were ace... Project: VAn Hell were no the best I'd seen them but were good. Mini kicking out the pedals didnt help! And Gatechien? I have never seen somebody play the bass like that. It was unreal.

Whats the running order? I would do almost anything to miss Turning 13.

I wouldn't say the best band in Aberdeen. But I would touch them in their "special" places... Did you enjoy the pelican tonight then?
