  1. I'm still quite surprised that Aereogramme are actually SUPPORTING and not headlining...
  2. guts on fire of north east scotland were going to rent it for the sticklebrick show at the end of the day though, drakes is the only place for them
  3. trees on fire?? if you like fire you should check out guts on fire of north east scotland they are like a forest on fire
  4. dont forget it folks, sticklebrick are one of the hottest new acts and they are awesome eye candy too as for gofones, most fowk know how passionate i am about them this will be an awesome show who should support???i was thinking of mmw and radio lucifer
  5. the chalet sounds like a damn good idea...
  6. Excellent! It was amazing last time they played the Lemon Tree. Any band that has a string section that drinks buckfast on stage must be magic.
  7. The good stuff is great but half of it is utter guff. What the fuck were they thinking with Crasp and the Atrocity? Utter shite.
  8. Man, this was an ace gig... I thought all the bands were ace but particularly enjoyed Senator. Wasn't keen on the cd at first but needed to see them live to get the full experience i think... Just hope we get to do another night sometime! And Al has the lips of an angel...
  9. To be fair, I never saw that Jonathan Ross episode but however much I don't like Oasis now, Noel is a genuinely funny guy. He probably can be an arse when he wants to be but he was funny as fuck on Soccer AM this weekend... Stories of Mani (Ex-Stone Roses/Now Primal Scream) passing a phone round a room leaving voice messages at 4 in the morning saying "Have you got the right to buy Your council house?" Magic, no matter what you say. And the guy's music is shit now!
  10. This thread just seems to be about people advertising their own bands!!!!!!
  11. When Craig played solo at Drakes, he said that he would love to play there with a full band... Let's bloody hope so. There's something to be said about a venue with real personality......
  12. I can see the headlines now... "BOSS AND TEAM LEADER IN DRUNKEN NIGHT OUT SHOCK HORROR!!!!!" Anyway, it should be a hell of a gig. I'm still seriously toying with the idea of having a party afterwards if anyones interested...
  13. I heard that SEA test music on animals... Filthy bastards.
  14. I'm extremely hesitant about this aftershow party idea... I want it to happen though.
  15. Echomind - Started off interesting with a crazy noise intro, then went mind numbingly boring. Ghost of Bongo - Amazing musicians. Their songs made me suicidal. I have never ever been so fucking depressed during a band. Turning 13 - There are no words.......
  16. All we ask is that you bring your crazy Masamune bloodlust............... and 50 people.
  17. My only visit to Fudge Heights came after the 5th anniversary TAR gig, I believe... Am quite pleased to say that it lived up its reputation and I feel lucky to have not contracted any weird and wonderful diseases. I vaguely remember walking over the road to Hilly's old flat at 5 or 6 in the morning with a total perma-grin on my face due to the fact that I was stoned out of my fucking box. Long live Fudge!
  18. The only words that could probably safely describe it are 'Carnage' and 'Messy'. Close?
  19. This could be a good one... Still never seen Dedalus as well... Sounds sexy.
  20. Good quality on the Houston video... The performance was suitably shambolic as well. Drunkards... x
  21. The Delgados 'All You Need Is Hate', anyone?
  22. They supported Mogwai at the Barrowlands last year... Thought the music was damn sexy.
