our drummer is unable to attend this gig - which is super shit but...the show must go on! we're gonna do a nice wee acoustic set for ya'll!

i agree, i am a twat but i dunno if have the ability to "ruin things for people" (god i wish i could). But first of all to set things straight - i never said my band was "any better than yours". This thread isnt about my band - you started it about yours and im only being honest. Im in the tunnels 6 nights a week (give of take a night) - i see SO many crap bands! I would consider myself a pretty open minded guy in terms of music but im gonna judge you on what i see/hear. i have seen you guys twice now - and yeah it sounds harsh but you guys are one of the worst bands ive ever seen! And as one of the few people here to have seen the live decipher experience i can honestly say give up. For years and years people have been going to see shit 14/15+ year olds rubbish school talent show band at drummonds/drakes/kef - heck - ive been in one of those bands in the past and i suppose everyone in a band has been....10 out 10 times this kind of band will be bollocks but you can see potential and in most cases turn out pretty good as they mature as musicians and people (example the xcerts - i saw their first show - bog standard mainstream punk rubbish....5 or so years on they are still going - much more mature). Yet i see your boring set of rubbish songs, cocky stage presence and i conclude that you have nothing to offer the aberdeen music scene and you really shouldn’t be playing a venue like the tunnels - but I blame the promoter for that. you dont have to listen to me or anyone - HELL - playing in a band is so much fun and if you agree with me ignore all the bad things said about you. But if you ask for someone opinion of your band on a message board the answer might not be what you want to hear - deal with it. And you know what i think.

before he played with us & Dufus last time he came to Aberdeen i had no idea he did acoustic stuff (f-knows how i missed that coz he'd played here before) but yeah, i seem to hear his name everywhere now - i recon people prefer his acoustic stuff.....imo LONG LIVE MILLION DEAD! Spot on to Ry Walker for getting support slot - he only had to kick a cripple in the nuts to get it . *not bitter* upset i'll be missing this one but Franks a busy man - i'm sure he'll be back soon!

dont mean to wake a dead thread but the corpse is still warm so here goes: i was working on the bar at the tunnles a couple of weeks past or so, i'll start by saying it wasnt "awsome punk music" - it was really fucking dull: really competitive. nae my cup of tea - i like to see some variety in a bands set...you lacked a certain panache - was just like seeing an extreamly unenergetic blink 182 set/gig from 7/8 years ago...maybe longer ago....dull..... the over cockyness online is no different on stage - i thought it was a joke at first (maybe it still is) but it got really old really quick...there aint anything wrong with being cocky its just that it makes u sound like a dick and i dont really wanna speak/listen to you! i suppose a good thing i took from your set was you were really tight as a band - alot of people like that but personaly if you are 100% tight 'AS FUCK LOLZ11!' it ends the idea of freedom of playing and improvisation. i still managed to make that sound negative... i'd prob rate you as the 10th worst band* ive seen between 17th January 2006 - 17th January 2007. *rough approximation

do it! im at the tunnels every Tuesday hosting open mic - give it it me then...if not leave it with a note at the bar and i'll pick it up anyother day! i have to agree with 'THAT GUY' Ry, i saw mark not long ago - his new material is alot more interesting! He's recording a Demo at my house. Funny how things go - from a bad review to helping each other...its pretty gay if you think about it.....suppose it would make sence.....i better shut up now.

My Flatmate whos a real wizz with cameras took these photos... he can take credit for them later and leave an email address for comissions: maybe some more to follow...he aint signed up to aberdeen-music...yet!!! kick ass night!

it looks shit. i dislike ipods and itunes and anything else they can put 'i' in front of. as stripy said its just more shit for idiots to buy...or buy for their kids. i'll stick with my tape cassette recorder, my pc mic & cool edit pro.
