  1. Maybe you shouldn't have been rude and let the door swing into the buggy? Like breeds like... Lets not mistake rudeness for complete ignorance. Many very very ignorant people in Aberdeen to stupid to even know they are being rude.
  2. Yeah apologies from TTA for not speaking more. Very rude and not normal fair. I was fizzing after my bass drum pedal broke in the first bar of first song. I/we then steam rollered through the set on edgy adrenalin. Job done though! Note to drummers: avoid Bigdog hardware. Second spring on the pedal, drum throne doesn't lock and a snare stand had to get some emergency metal work done on it. Pish weak shit!
  3. Once again test the waters for interest. I haven't really pushed the sale of this to date.
  4. That's the plot to Bubba Ho-tep A true story
  5. Some mornings when I get out of bed I manage this crab position until I stretch my old bones. I would be more than happy to offer my services on a daily basis for around 35minutes between 7-8am. Sadly I can't oblige on the hair but I do good hat and wear black well.
  6. News! Hot off the press from the TTA camp? The new ep 'Joyride The Junker' featuring such classics as 'Oh Yeah' and 'Bareback Bride' will not be available this weekend as planned. An issue with the pressing of tone buttons during the recording has resulted in some quiet consideration and reworking of guitar parts. Please feel free to bring suitable sly recording equipment instead. Jim
  7. Ta. Gotta love the Vodka eh
  8. Someone tell me what happens. I'm squeamish with these kinda videos and clicked of when he pick the bow. Never mind. I just read the above post properly and get the picture.
  9. Well, judging by some comments I'm not too bothered about missing Codes... However, I really must see Katerwaul soon...

I'mfar too mature of years to provide an answer that will accurately give you an idea through the use of genre names. That said it was suitably heavy with a familiar face on the decks. and the Drakes reference should provide a clue

Popped in on Saturday, to middle floor. It was like a fricken Drakes reunion! The contrast in clientele and music between the street and middle level was quite remarkable.o_O

As stated elsewhere and part of a distinctly underwhelming marketing campaign. New sounds here Tupelo Town Assembly on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
  13. New and recorded tracks now up on Tupelo Town Assembly on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
  14. New TTA tracks, or should I say properly recorded but not quite finished mixing yet, to be flung onto Myspazz very soon.
  15. This is a lovely drum. Plenty of beef and meat whilst still getting the delicate tickles across. Depending on my mood or song I have had no issues getting the tone I want. mapex memphis special - Google Product Search
  16. I love how the negativity attempted at by Clown (noted early name change suggestion) has turned into an appreciation of local bands thread.
  17. Leave the skirting on if not planning on decorating and buy a matching moulding to hide the gap. Use the spacers or make your own and keep checking everything is even. Going off the square can be very problematic and what starts as a millimeter ends up a couple of centimeters over the length/width of a room If able glue the first couple of rows as it helps keep it all in place. Get a saw with a fine tooth. Nice staggered joints Some beers in the fridge!
  18. Buff! I'll add to what I was saying earlier and thanks for the deeper insight. I always got on well with Karl and had no problem with him. I'm sure he'll say the same. He distanced himself from the club and bad mouthed a few people so understandably things were somewhat tense for a while due to club loyalty and that. In the maturing year one tends to look back and grimace from time to time. Certainly wouldn't pass him in the street if I saw him and if you do happen to see him say Jim Ewen says hi. How hard is SCS on the joints and the like by the way? I wouldn't mind something that will buff without breaking and that Jnr may enjoy as well. He's at Karate at the mo.
  19. Had similar issueswith the ATM's on Bridge Strasse. Using the bank specific to the card usually solves any problems. Often means a little hike now and again though and in this day and age of instant everything I can download being annoyed super fast!
  20. Bought the game. Can see how it may be addictive but I kept not getting anywhere and wondering around wasteland and the like for ages. I can go outside for a walk and its better for me... Not rushing back to try it anytime soon.
  21. "hi is that Forbidden Planet?. I just wanted to ask if you guys moving to one of the giant Malls we are getting that will make our city the Mecca of the north?"
  22. Yeah, decided that getting stroppy, just for the hell of it, about the sound at our next gig might not be a good idea after all.
  23. Kafdo Karate Aikido Jitsu? How exactly does one become proficient in all of these in a martial arts career that started in his late 40's/50's. Karl Felber (sp) gained his Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do (Tukido) 6 months or a yr behind me then promptly left to start a new brand 'Martial Art' not based at all on his previous teachings. Bit of a laughing stock around the Aberdeen martial arts scene at the time. Not sure where or what he is up to now. I, having gained said belt and also studied Ailkido (a few years ago now) for a couple of years, still wouldn't have consider myself anywhere near proficient enough to teach. The bokken would come in handy for clobbering like but then so would a big stick. I could teach that. All that said the stuff I'm seeing on the videos of your Street Combat System looks very good indeed. Mightly impressed so I am. I wouldn't mind getting involved myself if it weren't for the fact that I am unable to pick up a pencil without straining something these days.o_O
