  1. No wonder really that I hit my drums so bloomin hard. Getting too old for that and should really be entering my Jazz phase by now...o_O
  2. THAT SOUNDED VERY VERY GOOD. Great band, great sound, great, unique and cute drummer! Not a terrible turnout but many missed out. Very appreciative audience:up:
  3. That'll be why they had to redecorate...

Less about raising their game and more to do with bottling it and being shit scared of losing therefore losing. Same applies though. Professionals?

I was a few rows back in the main stand on Wednesday, normally in the Merkland stand, and got feart when Tommy was raging at a Pars player. Scary guy Still not sure about him as a player like but if brought on earlier we may have won.

Chris Crichton has a very good letter in the PnJ today. Says exactly what most of the fans are thinking. I'm not a JC hater or was in the Jimmy must go camp but enough is enough. Someone that cant see that the players he routinely picks and favours are simply not footballers must be a little dim or stubborn to the detriment of the team. He has done a good job but time for a change and time to leave some players on the bench or in the stand.
  7. Mighty high and worthy praise I'd say. The lyrics are some of the best I have heard in a very long time. Cant wait, and I get to play tooooooooo Early Birthday prezzy. Exactly a week early. I'm disappointed IMP :
  8. Considine came on for Mair who took a knock I think. He went up the tunnel. Thought Considine did okay and like Diamond tried to get forward. PISH PISH PISH. I have never been so pissed off after a match
  9. I think we are all pretty much reading from the same page or singing from the same hymn book or choose an analogy!
  10. Erm... hahahaha I did mean it and wasn't in anyway taking the piss. I'm not suggesting there are no interesting things going. Aberdeen is a fine wee city with some great folk doing great things. Just not enough is all I mean. We need more folk to stop moaning about how everything happens south and just get the fuck on with doing something they want to do. Good things do get noticed by the outside world! There is a great deal of respect and good will directed at Aberdeen and if there was a bigger spread of belief that things can be done up here then there needn't be such an emphasis on consumerism being the saviour of the city (see todays PnJ) The last thing we need is more shit shops! Cultural activities and projects don't get handed o us we have to get off our arses making folk take notice! Fuck me, I didn't mean to jump on a soap box there and this isn't aimed at anyone. Just a rant from someone that has heard far too many well intended creative people (all genres) speaking a great speak but not getting on with it! Right, I'm off for a chamomile!
  11. Then let the revolution begin... I like the Skinny but don't pick it up thinking I'm going to read about Aberdeen, unfortunately. Maybe we need more exciting and interesting things happening up hereo_O
  12. What a miserable bunch of Aberdeen types you lot are. Christ, its a bit of fun that other folk do. A little more adventure and some fancy dress or dancing the next time... Or a flashmob that batters chavs?! Oh we can dream...
  13. Hmmm, surprises me as they always seem very keen on catering more where there is a more going on... Maybe some communication breakdown or summit. Can enquire next time I meet one of them:up:
  14. Its probably nearer 80% of the gigs you went to that you cant remember.
  15. Hmmm That's poo that it was only out in the south. I wonder why... Good work though Mr Kick
  16. Trust me, it makes for a less angry life:up:
  17. I am happily managing to avoid all things Goody without really trying. Simply pay no attention, apart from seeing her mug pass me now and again and hey presto nothing there to get in a fizz about!

    Comedians

A one off on BBC I think, testing the water I hope. "It's shuut, It's shuuuut" Very clever and subtle (sometimes) stuff!
  19. Wont argue with any of that (don't know why Ultras were moved). Pitch was looking a little better today I thought. It is being eaten by beasties just now... Not many Scottish pitches an great shape just now. Also gives us an excuse for poor an inconsistent play
  20. Dons game wasn't affa good but in fairness, I didn't realise how bad the wind was until I came out of the stadium at the end. The ball had a mind of its own today, so bad that many of Fosters passes were on targeto_O
  21. The trip was sponsored by BT and didn't cost anyone directly. Not sure on the reasons why a straight donation from the likes of BT cant take place but is rare for companies to just hand over money. As much as it may pain a large section of the populace awareness raising is a big part of this, and it works Im sure. None of us have to watch the greeting faced celebs. Annie Lennox later was a little ore dignified. Held herself together until she was well away from the kids and then blubbed, which to be honest would be difficult not to do when confronted by these things there or anywhere. As for bloody Fern Cotton feinting in the bloody hospital and having to be looked after by the nurses that should be looking after the kids. Deary me! Note to producers, dont send someone that wont be able to handle it!
  22. The reference was toward rock n roll and electric music! Bit too subtle, or maybe obvious, for you was it?
