  1. A post in another forum lead me to this: http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/ its a free 16-track multitracker and it looks pretty handy for zero cash hope that helps.
  2. hahaha' date=' sweet. I'm [i']really looking forward to it then
  3. The little snippets of the new album heard in the interview sound magic, can't wait!

  5. Holy shit, good work - this should make band practices VERY fun
  6. Indeed, well said. Rass pretty much said it all really, its been a LONG summer without much band activity. I'm really looking forward to just practising this Friday, HOORAY!!!!!
  7. Sorry man, I don't actually think we're playing that one. It was mentioned ages ago and we hadn't actually realised it was all go. Our singer isn't in the country unless I sing.... mwuhahaha... no. We can hopefully get together at some point in the future though, we really want to play a few gigs northwards.
  8. It's a pretty cool track, I'm impressed. Wasn't what you'd call a fan of the Strokes, saw them at Leeds a few years back and was bored to tears but this seems like a pretty different sound altogether. Even got a sweet little bit of riffage in the middle too
  9. Speed is like anything else on guitar, overuse leads to tedium. Take John Petrucci of Dream Theater, probably my favourite guitarist, but in the most recent couple of albums he's pretty much been on Shred overload and it gets boring really quickly. I'd much rather hear a melodic guitar line that is well phrased and thought out over a random wankfest anyday. In saying that, fast doesn't always mean bad. Tumeni Notes by Steve Morse has some ridiculous speed in it but at the same time it manages to be awesome. Also pretty much any Danny Gatton, mighty. That's my opinion, mainly due to the fact that I can't shred but hey, I can't really say I'm too bothered.
  10. Butter my arse... legend Although, upon second inspection I notice that they've missed out the best Partridge quote ever... "Smell my cheese you mother!!"

    New song

I've got it running right now, really enjoying it actually. It's like nothing I would normally listen to, more out of not really having any knowledge of this kind of musc than going out of my way not to listen to it. I'm loving the weird rhythmic ideas, i'm a big fan of odd time-sigs in all music and this certainly tickles me I'd be really interested in seeing how this kind of tune comes together, a friend of mine creates "similar" (probably totally different to a trained ear) music but entirely from samples but I'm guessing the process used by you is totally different? I'm intrigued, sorry if I come across like a total noob. Can you recommend some listening along a similar line to this? Thanks Bugger, I've just typed all the way through the bloody track... oh well, play again!
  14. Where you doing it? Erskine runs Paintball out on the South Deeside road at Blair's College, its not there is it? Unfortunately I work on Saturday's but have fun! And remember.... wear OLD SHOES!!!
  15. Give it up man, keep this shit for the Mourning Star forums.
  16. hahaha, I actually don't normally like photo's of me. I manage to look pretty rubbish in 99% of photo's, I'm too much of a gurner
  17. Kickass photo's man, considering there from a phone they look pretty good.
  18. Bloody hell, something for everyone in there. Great news for Aberdeen!!
