Ugly Kid Joe are the only ones in my collection that fall into that category. I've never been enough of a completist to get albums I don't like by my favourite bands (hence I haven't bought the last 3 Metallica releases). Or I've came in at the 2nd album and gone back to the first (RATM, Deftones, Pantera) and everything after it.

Utter Shite. Where's your justification for that statement other than third hand rumours? Be very grateful we have venues in Aberdeen that pay local bands. And if you think they get paid a lot you're very much mistaken but enough to cover petrol/taxis, some food anda few pints afterwards is still a lot better than you'll get in most glasgow and edinburgh venues. As for how much touring bands get paid they have overheads to pay for as well as other people wanting a split of the money.

this is something that has been mentioned every year since since I can remember. it's not impossible but up here the local media aren't at all interested in supporting local bands. and you need media coverage to get enough people to come along to a gig like this to break even. otherwise the costs of getting an outdoor licence, finding a location, hiring stage and generators etc are too much as has already been said.
