  3. Well now that you are 14 it should be a bit easier! Many gigs in Aberdeen are 14+. I suggest you speak to Ross at AGP Aberdeen in the first instance - he's a promoter that puts on shows of various sizes in Aberdeen (in venues like The Tunnels) and may be able to help out. You can get him on ros840@btinternet.com. Good luck!
  4. Occasionally I will switch the wingers for inside forwards depending on the player. You need strong wing backs going forward - Cyrus Christie has been absolutely brilliant for me at RB. In the Prem I normally play on a counter mentality, but if I'm at home against a weaker team or a team in poor form I will start on control. I'll screenshot my team instructions later if you're interested. There are a few player instructions but not too many. Bradley Johnson scores a bucketload from distance in the BBM role but since my last post I've signed Lewis Cook in the hope that the Hughes/Cook CM will exist until the end of time. Probably need to win something soon or at least get Champs League, otherwise Hughes will moan.
  5. It took me ages to get into a game, but finally have as Derby County. Promoted first season via the playoffs, beating Newcastle Utd in the final (lol). Created a very possession-based formation reliant on a roaming playmaker to make things happen. It's been great, very often have close to 70% possession and heaps of attempts. It was difficult in the Championship with no decent striker to actually finish the attempts off (Derby had a shit load of strikers but none very good - Vydra, Blackman, Russell, Martin, Wilson on loan from Man Utd). Went with Vydra as my main guy and he was okay. Anyway, I GOT PROMOTED, and only really made three signings - Martin Caceres on a free (in November once he realised no other cunt wanted him), James McClean on loan, Chung Yung-Lee on loan. First season in the Prem finished 10th, which is pretty great. Had signed Wilfried Bony on loan who is THE BOY in this formation, along with Leroy Fer (didn't get in the team, really), James McClean (WBA) and Chung Yung-Lee (C Palace) on permanent deals as well as Curtis Davies on a free and Patrick Roberts on loan. Will Hughes is just the best. Sign him if you can, he is incredible. THE LEGENDS THAT GOT ME 10th PLACE: Been handed my first WARCHEST of £50m, and having shipped out M'Vila, Vydra, Martin, Olsson and Fer my NET SPEND on the following was pretty low: Bony (permanent deal from Man City), Snodgrass, Antonio, Cresswell, Ings, Hector (Michael), Begovic Still need a solid DM and backup CB/long-term replacement for Davies, but it's looking good:
  6. Christie's a good signing, obviously can play a similar role to Maddison who Norwich are holding on to, so fills that gap in the squad. Sensible move for both Celtic and Aberdeen and good that Rodgers/Celtic weren't stupid enough to be funny about it given they're running away with the league. Hopefully does well for us and kicks on, whether that's at Celtic thereafter or somewhere else. Hate to see young Scottish players stockpiled by the OF and development stunted by playing reserve football for the length of their contract (see: Allan, Scott).
  7. One thing to be aware of is HMRC are tightening up rules on flat rate VAT arrangements, so there will be stricter criteria as to which business qualify for a flat rate VAT scheme and which don't. There's a good article somewhere that I can dig out if you want, but your accountant should be able to tell you the best arrangement for your circumstance.
  8. I did this about a year ago after losing two days at work, been doing the odd bit of consultancy work to fill up my time (legal/contracts stuff). What sort of volume of work are you intending on doing? Will you VAT register? I have largely tried to do stuff on my own, accumulating tips and advice from accountant pals and the internet. Feel free to ask any specific questions you have and I might be able to help!
  9. Hopefully immediately, making the Qatar WC a non-thing ("logistical problems").
  10. Marketplace doesn't appear in the app list.
  11. This all sounds amazing. Unfortunately the installation of Amazon lockers in Aberdeen would likely require public consultation, followed by residents' vote, followed by council ignoring 'the will of the people', followed by council pushing through and installing CD-WOW.com lockers instead.
  12. Anyone that's keen and not my FB mate, feel free to add away.
  13. UEFA have confirmed that Aberdeen will get around £600,000 for playing in the qualifying stages of the Europa League this season. Celtic, for playing in the group stages of the Champions' League, will secure a minimum of £26,000,000. 14. But what if I don't want to add a heap of strangers from an internet music forum as friends on Facebook? Wait...
