Flash@TMB
a decent one?Ive had it loading for 2 mins now and its still not done!!!It's 'future proof' - by the 22nd century broadband will have caught up with us.

neepheid
Sorry, it takes far too long to load - and that's looking at it from a Uni connection. No matter how pretty it is, it far outstrips your average internet user's attention span.

Ross.
It'd be a great site if it didn't take so bloody long to load! I've given up on using it after just a couple minutes and I've got a pretty fast broadband connection. It's all very well having a snazzy site like this but sadly to the majority of users it's not going to be much use, and at the end of the day that means it won't be serving it's purpose. It is very pretty though...
glennbuchan
I've never seen a website with 2 loading screens. I waited an eternity to get through one only to be confronted with another one!
FatHand
It's ok, but not good enough for the loading time. What's it doing that other sites don't do? Why does it take longer than a zx spectrum game to load?
neepheid
Those with slow connections will have to make do with our MySpace page until technology catches up.But I'm not looking at it from a slow connection. I just clocked my connection at 29.2Mbps. Domestic broadband is up to 8Mbps. Your site is too bloody slow for the vast majority of internet users out there. Which means a lot of people will have to "make do with (y)our MySpace page until technology catches up".
The Kernel Loaf
It's not exactly optimised. Are images being reloaded with every loading screen, or are they kept in the cache?
Flash@TMB
So be it LOL.
Guest treader.
I get the feeling Flash is having you all on, and you ALL fell for it hook, line and sinker.

Guest Exposure @ Lemon Tree
It's quite a cool website once it gets going, but I don't get why it takes so long to load up!

FatHand
Who, Stripey? Get that shit optimised flash, all those images need to stay in the cache, what were you thinking!!How about getting some of that artwork you have on the walls displayed on you page? It's maybe a bit dark too, more contrast.
Cloud
Pah, I dunno what you lot are talking about. It's more than fast enough for me on a crappy 2mb Polish connection.Nice site
framheim
i'm not sure if you're aware but your site seems quite slow. might want to look at that aside from that it's quite nice. i'd like to see real pictures of the sandwichs not just the same generic one and there's a spelling mistake on the bar page but those are pretty minor gripes. i like the stick figures punching each other. jf9tp2wd40
Very cool website, and i didnt have a problem viewing it at all speed wise, was quick as an *ahem* flash
The Milner
thats much much better than it was the other day, very nice site.
Flash@TMB
The site is currently hosted on a broadband connection that only supports 256kbps upstream. Once the remaining mistakes ironed out I'll transfer it to a fast web hosting provider which should in theory multiply the performance x4, yo - treader Thanks for pointing out the spelling mistake, I'll sort that today, knew there had to be at least one in there. The toastie (*COUGH* "sandwichs" Dave - LMAO) photos feature beers that we sell, but if you've seen one of our toasties... well suffice to say that any photogenic shortcomings are more than compensated for in taste hah hah And they all look the same, like two bits of toast squished together. The other thing we need is some MP3s for the jukebox feature. We'll kick off with our catalogue of live recordings, but might also be open to some local band studio tracks too. Don't mail bomb me for fucks sake! Kaizen
I just went on it now and it didnt take awfully long to load. Not longer than an average "flash" (ugh...) website. I'm assuming it's been optimised since the original complaints. Very pretty. Now you just need a bar to match x
