RF Scott
Hello, I'm looking to buy a frame for a poster (27" x 39") - any recommendations of where to go in Aberdeen? Internet hasn't been much use and the one place I did try (Peacocks) was a little too pricey for me.
Jeanette
I think the framing shop in The Galleria (Bon Accord St) is still open. Don't know how expensive it is though.
neepheid
Is there not a shop next to the Music Hall/Box Office which might be able to help?
Johnny Mac
It seems to just kinda sell prints now. I've been hunting for a frame for a picture I've got too... not to much success without shelling out what seems like a hell of a lot.I'm in the same boat.Got loads of stuff I need framed, but can't find anywhere that is reasonable!I think there is a place called Deeside Framing...... I'll go have a hunt.
Sam 45
You could go see Iain at the Aberdeen Framing Shop in the Galleria shopping centre. Not sure about his prices but i'm sure he'll have what you're looking for.
Guest Hobo
Do you just need a basic frame? or decorative? with a glass face?
RF Scott
Do you just need a basic frame? or decorative? with a glass face?Yeah just something basic - even a clipframe would do!
Guest Hobo
Yeah just something basic - even a clipframe would do!I can make for 10 for you, depending on type of wood for frame, or if you would like metal... cost more, again with glass
Elizabeth
The Artist's Pad on Castlegate might do framing?
Bigsby
Apparently the Art shop next to the Music Hall is going to start doing framing again before too long, it was in administration for a while I think, but the new owners are getting it going again. lepeep
Graeme on the castle gate (banana plant in the window) is an excellent framer...but....he's always busy, and probably too expensive for these needs...but he's the best in aberdeen! Guest Hobo
Ooooh! Is that offer open to other people too? yes, depends on amount of wood due to dimensions and whether glass is needed, could see the price raise slightly
Guest Hobo
For me, it'd definately involve glass and possibly metal (depending on prices) though I'd be happy with light wood. I'll send you some dimensions. Go for it, what do you mean by light wood?
