Alkaline
Anyone downloaded and tried it yet?I'm more than happy with Firefox, so i'll probably wait and see what the general consensus on Google Chrome is before i bother giving it a try.Google Chrome - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chris#2
I'm using it right now to browse this site.Even though it's running in a virtual machine copy of Windows Vista, compared to FF3 running natively on my Mac, it's very, very FAST. Le Stu
I really want to sneak it onto my work computer tomorrow. The cartoon they made to explain it is ace! Much better than reading Apple or Microsoft bumf. Still, not sure if all the features are unique.*oh, I have a G4 mac which is why I was saying I'll have to try it at work. Chris#2
It's definitely going on my work machine tomorrow. Going on the first 5-10 minutes of use I think I've found a new favourite browser.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I'm downloading and going to have a look. I doubt that I'll change from Firefox though.

Guest treader.
i tried to install it last nightand it kept telling me to close firefox, but all instances of firefox were closed.it was really annoying.
Guest idol_wild
I like it so far.Yes it is fast.
Chris
Speedy!Like the idea of every tab running as a seperate process. Get really fucked off with firefox hanging while one tab decides if it's going to load or not.
framheim
i like the incognito mode:"Going incognito doesn't affect the behaviour of other people, servers or software. Neil
Before you all get too excited over Chrome. It has a fairly nasty EULA:Burned by Chrome | The Register
Chris
I imagine that part of the EULA won't remain in place for long. Didn't myspace or something try that a while ago and had to retract it in the end? Billy Bragg may have been involved, or maybe I just made that up. framheim
why do companies insist on rights grabbing? the dirty feckers. i'd like to see them try that with metallica if they use chrome to upload music to their official myspace or something. Guest treader.
yeah they used to have that on myspace but it got taken to court and now it's no longer a rule.
