666
These arn't new but:Dalek v.s. Kid 606 ''Ruin It e.p.'' Excellent mix between 'breakcore' and dark hip hop. 27: really lush pop music on Hydra Head records. Maria Christopher has an amazing voice. A Day in Black and White: Old School Emo/Inde. Just really great. Dj Speedranch: For anyone of a persuasion towards harsher electronic sounds. This guy is nuts.oh yes....Kid 606 did a locust remix of "well i`ll be a monkeys uncle", that was sick. Swingin' Ryan
Listen to The Cold Wark Kids, they're kind of Indie-Blues with lots of piano. shaun
As in he actually had a problem that made his hand jump about or was he just jumping about and accidentally smacking his bandmates?he wasn't jumping about or anything, more swaying. then he'd move over to a bandmate and just sort of tap/slap them repeatedly on the arm or back, when he wasn't playing any bass parts, then return to his spot. his bandmates never acknowledged it, so it definitely wasn't to get their attention.it had me baffled. something like an idle hand, it seemed. Still can't believe its just two guys.Meneguar, i think are missing something....good, but it doesn`t really strike me. actually...House of Cats demands more listens.Envy is interesting...they could be the next HIM. the comparison is as in that there are the super-melodic vocals and the heavy-ish music.Grails is different too....theres something medieval to their sound, i think. well, generally a bit mysterious anyway.Hella are off the hook. very good. Guest Phantomsmasher
Wouldn't say so to be honest, Envy's vocals aren't very melodic at all, in the case of the two albums I own at least. It's more screamed vocals over the melodic guitar pieces. The vocalist does do some whispered and singing parts, but a comparison to H.I.M. is pretty harsh and quite unfounded, considering Envy sound like a screamo/post rock mish mash, whereas H.I.M sonically, are basically just a mainstream rock/metal band with keys and a droning vocalist. All opinions and genre tags of course though...
