No, it was The Yardbirds, that's why Clapton left, he thought they were going too poppy and he wanted to be a blues purist.

This is the same Clapton who went on to record Behind the Mask and Tearing Us Apart.

From 'the nights in white satin' era there are Justin Hayward, John Lodge and on novelty drum fills Graeme Edge(they have another drummer doing all the hard work).

The Seventh Sojurn is pretty good too - great cover as well (in vinyl gatefold format).

The Moodies have great harmony and the production is peerless, but it all sounds dated now (IMHO).

Still, nowt wrong with that I suppose in the era of digital production-line noise.
