Lemonade
As long as it better than series 4, that was terrible.I think I said that already but it was a long time ago.I really love Futurama but I was almost glad when it got cancelled, that last series was embarrasingly bad... Guest DustyDeviada
Disagree, some great episodes up till the end:The one with Fry's dogThe one where Zoidberg eats the flagThe one where they are superherosThe one with the boxes and the parallel universesAnd the Star Trek one, probably my all time favourite episode(I'm assuming you're talking about season 4 in boxset form and not the production season 4, which was actually the second last one.) Guest b-bert
Can't wait. Possibly a reason to turn the tv on for once.

Trying to make Futurama all touching and soft instead of just funny? They lost the plot totally. Oh and the one where Bender gets turned into wood - awful. Guest DustyDeviada
I guess you have to be a Star Trek fan to appreciate the Star Trek one, but trust me it was ace.And I thought the dog one was great, nothing wrong with being a bit touching, some of the very best eps of The Simpsons were like that, as was the Futurama one with the flashbacks to his brother. Bigsby
Available now in R1 land:CD WOW! - Futurama The Movie: Bender's Big Score DVDReleased here in the UK next week I believe.
Pierre Von Mondragon
Bender made of wood was ace, and a biting satire on cultural concepts of authenticity, em, maybe. And 'Jurassic Bark' was good too, with nowhere near the equivalent schmaltz that the Simpsons would have applied.I do get confused with which series are which, re the boxsets as I have 'copies' of all of them on my PC, and the documentation alludes to this.Anyway, suppose I'll do the 'Good News everyone' bit and leave. Lemonade
I'm still excited about seeing the new ones, but nowhere near as much as I would have been a few years ago before I bought that... that.... thing... of a series 4 boxset the day it was released... Camie
Just finished watching the feaure film.Really funny, and will make sci-fi geeks cream their pants.
Pierre Von Mondragon
Its pretty good is 'Benders Big Score', but the first 5 minutes are the stuff of revenge fantasy, then it tails off, and then you get used to the strangely extended format and its ace again. Definitely looking forward to the other three now.
Bigsby
Hope you guys bought genuine copies. Normally I take a relaxed view of downloading/torrents etc, but if this DVD release isn't a success they just won't make any more.

Bigsby
Is it out here yet?Apparently it's not out here until February or something, which is madness when piracy is so prevalent. But you can get the R1 version from CD-Wow for 12.99 or something. HeinzHines
Its good, if they are making 4 'movies' of this quality, then they have made the Simpsons movie a laughing stock.
HeinzHines
Oh, the only thing that annoyed me was the reintroduction of EVERY character who has ever been in Futurama, like we dont know them!
Pierre Von Mondragon
Zap Brannigans appearance was a bit gratuitous.
PalmerEldritch
Watched it with the girlfriend this evening. It thoroughly rocked our socks off. 10/10.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Just watched it, I thought it was pretty good. It pisses all over the Simpsons movie. I think you'd need to see it a few times to get all the in jokes though...
Pierre Von Mondragon
'Beast with a Billion Backs' is due soon, think it continues from where ..Big Score left off ie. a horde of replicated Benders, not positive though.

Pierre Von Mondragon
Saw it a couple of days ago, it is well fucked up, with a touch of Cthulu mythos, though Yivo seems nicer than Nyarlathotep. I think I need to check it again.

Bigsby
More new episodes on the way click hereGood news (everyone) that they're individual episodes. I watched the first two of the new "movies" and they weren't that great, never got round to watching the other two.Hopefully the return to the shorter format will mark a return to form. Pierre Von Mondragon
More new episodes on the way click hereNo no no, you're meant to say 'Good news everyone' and then with the news. Thats the Futurama WAY!! As you can see in the post above.Thank fuck, the movie length ones, while having some good bits, aren't up to old school condensed Futurama.
