The Ghost Of Fudge
me and mart deadloss went to see the quireboys in glasgow earlier this year. they were fabulous. nobody writes decent rock ballads anymore i repeat, they were suprisingly good, and i expected them to be pretty good in the first place. Afro Droid
If I had to choose, I'd go with the Dogs; but they're both ace - gig should awesome.Bri - Did you see the Quireboys in the Catty with Antiproduct a while back? As in, with me and Robb? All the gigs I've been to at the Catty with you are somewhat hazy....

Hardcore Mel
what a fucking awesome night! i had a great night despite being on the merch stand all night. the quireboys were lovely as well, although the guitarist (guy-the one in the suit) was pure nigel tuffnell from spinal tap. had the accent and everything! the mart of darkness
heh heh! i commented on his nigel tuffnel-ness as well.quireboys rock my world.
The Ghost Of Fudge
i watched the video of deadloss this afternoon... it was a hoot. when we play the new song, all you can hear is the guy beside chris (who was taking the video) going "they're rubbish. they're a rubbish band". chris: "i rather like them actually" guy: "they're a rubbish band. rubbish. rubbish." etc. it's ace. Guest bluesxman
Thought Double Jack were pretty good, but couldn't decide if all the foot on the monitor and painful guitar solo expressions stuff were taking the piss or not....but very good musicianship, especially drummer....Went to see Deadloss Superstar basically, and thought they were great. Especially enjoyed fat twat shouting how they were rubbish at me while swigging test tube cocktail. Gave him my best blank 'go away' expression, and finally he did. Heard him coming away with the same shite to people behind me, and think it was the same twat who waved his hands in the Quireboy's singers coupon all night....erse.Anyway although I had to leave early, Quireboys were pretty cool and singer is looking in good shape, alcohol must be preserving him...
