I really like the spooky echo noise the guitar bloke with the jazzmaster makes at roughly 16.39. I'd like to make similar noises to scare my wife. Any ideas what it is? also I'm a fair fan of Lanegans facial expressions- I've been trying in the bathroom mirror in the morning, but I just look like I'm doing a major dump.

Immortals. It was really fucking stupid, but really good. Mind you, I think 300 is one of the greatest films ever barring Spartacus and Jaws. I'm quite easily pleased. I wish they would make 300 II. Got Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows all ready to go now. I wanted to be a smartarse and write 300 squared but I jist can't figure out how to make that sneaky wee 2 appear. Bugger it.

I quite like it. The singing reminds me of a chap Ian Simpson turned me onto, Gordon Bell/Gustav Bertha.

I've pre-ordered it, so it should arrive on Monday- so I don't feel that guilty about a cheeky torrents lift of Spiritualized's Sweet heart Sweet Light. I can't decide if he's made the best record ever or botched the job by mixing it himself. It's sounding good round my house, in the car and on me I-pod. One to watch I suppose. I'm still pretty hung up on songs in A and E though, so it will take a while to wean me off that shit. Really enjoying the Lee Ranaldo CD as well. Picked up a free Melvins thing off Dirty Beard on Facebook. It's good as well. Also got hold of Ablach: album one and two-fucking belting.
