  1. I would like that PA. Could you wait till the end of the week? I get paid around Thursday....
  2. I'm on Sidca. trying to get back in the zone. played some zone out jamz with my brother, the riffs sound good- my new songs are "too tuney" for him...must find middle ground. Our improv. noise stuff sounds sweet to my ears, damn them songs...
  3. It's trial and error really. For me I use cable ties on the hands and feet, then lo-tack masking tape on the mouth. I found parcel tape and gaffer tape damaged the hair. I like the hair....
  4. I would dispute that. It's about value. People can source cheaper masking tape for amateur pursuits, but Hobbycraft offers the best price for professional masking tape. it's a fact, and I know a lot about masking tape. I use it myself to tape the mouths of my victims shut. I swear by it.
  5. I work at Union square, one time this bunch of hipsters came in- stupid shoes, daft hair and silly ear rings. They asked about masking tape. The stuff we sell wasnae hip enough, and the lead gumbo said "thanks but no thanks- will purchase elsewhere". what a shoal of fannies.
  6. The market is for REAL Aberdonians.Union Square is for hipsters who play synth, and have pals who also play synth.Long live the Market! As it happens the Market started my enthusiasm for music- Duran Duran "Arena" purchased with tattie picking money on TAPE. So there!
  7. nickel and dime is an awesome shop. It's like a magical hardware and tat fuckfest. Cool thinker will never know. cause he's a snob. damn him!
  8. poor show. I'll get the scoop elsewhere. Hardly the local news node you are hyped as man.....I just feel let down now....
  9. hey cool thinker- what's the scoop about the new guitar shop in the Market. They sell miniature guitars as well...
  10. Sidca face book community, healing those with a sad face inside
  11. YO, we need a drummer. not a lot of commitment. couple of gigs now and then.
  12. Currently obsessed by the fall. this will last a while-ah.

  13. I've nae been to One-Up for years. It was a bit of a Mecca for me when I was a student/Living out in the sticks. I used to totter in and buy all those records NME used to bang on about. Thanks to that I bought without hearing* the likes of Big Black, Killdozer, etc etc. I'm now old, skint and grumpy. I only buy the occasional CD now, apart from stuff from bandcamp (mostly local) and it's better for me to get cd's from play.com or whatever. It's different now- the internet has essentially killed the likes of one-up, which is a shame from my nostalgic point of view, but as other folk have said it is a business: sink or swim. I'm in no position to give business advice, but the last few times I went into one-up I hit the second hand section- looking for as much Megadeth as I could lay my dirty furtive digits on- maybe they could have made more of the 2nd hand hard to get section- I also got 11:11 by Come from that section- I tote's WHOOPED when that happened, and would have probably paid more than 2.99 for the CD. Fuck knows. I have nae idea. *that's what changed. Music is right easy to get hold of now. I had to buy records and then really work at listening to them, I hated the Jesus Lizard to begin with- but eventually it clicked. Kid's nowadays etc.
  14. I went and like, "Liked" that on fleece book. It's a good page, will know doubt keep me up to date. It's just lacking the sparkle and sheer OMG of the The Only Way is Aberdeen page. I like both pages though. Sorry, Bye.
  15. I'm working my way through a massive backlog of four-track stuff at the moment. I feel it's better to let tapes sit for a while before trying to make them sound shitter. It's on bandcamp.....It's keeping me amused before SIDCA return next year. http://davidjamesfarquhar.bandcamp.com/album/t-a-p-e-s-dec-2010-present-day I would have put that picture in spoiler tags, but I have no idea how to do that. I'm a busy chap.
  16. I have no idea. I dont have a clue what the punx are either. In the good old days people would just call each other cunts on here. Giles is funny, harrison ford is funny. Why do they have to cross swords? Im racialist!
  17. I like that stuff. It's good on a first spin. going to stick it on my phone for the trudge to work. It's actually got a tune.
  18. Cool thinker is coming off good in this thread, not so much captain mushroom cock. Keep the info flowing cool thinker!
  19. na, I'm nae him- we chat on the phone sometimes. I'm the fictional character from Frank Herberts' books, I'm a human Gom Jabber doncha' know. Plus I killed Sting. I never get enough credit for that. Oh aye, I'm also an amateur racialist.
  20. why was Malcolm not swearing away like a titan in the first episode of the thick of it?....I don't want to see the great man neutered in some way...that spin Dr with the paisly shirt and the fold up bike is such a cunt.
