I got one. lovely thing. really handy- goes from nice slight fuzz to bonkers. love the frazzled gated broken battery setting. well secksy. NOS will break my bank. Harmonic perculator arrives soon round my house.

I like a lot of the stuff on this thread. But, my problem with bandcamp is it's hard to find stuff that I like- this thread helps a lot- but, any blogs that sift through the shit? already checked oot the blog joda mentioned: bookmarked. over.

I get an awful lot of re-posts from the Guardian website, with minimal personal comments. it's depressing. Facebook is great though, people are funny and stupid people who think they are interesting are the funniest. I may not make sense. anyone have any contacts for this. I have a slightly fucked pedal, and its kind of cheap but essential to me. I've seen other folk with rehoused pedals but am too much of a ham fisted twat to even attempt it myself. anyone local? I've already emailed the guy fae nine of swords but it might be too piddly a job for him.

Aha. to much Merlot not enough explain. I meant fail as in fail to become (blech) culturally significant. Nae in a grand way- just folk generally know a bands tunes. Like the View, or Twilight Sad etc. Seen a fair few bands from Aberdeen over the years that I really thought were at least as good as Idlewild or whatnot. They just seem to gather a bit of momentum then fizzle out. I know Aberdeen is small and a bit remote but it seems a wee bit strange the only folk my mums heard of from Aberdeen are the shamen (love them stillsuits) Annie Lennox and that woman with the sculpted hair do. I forget her name. Sande? "fail" is maybe the wrong word. It's nae like I know anything. Somebody actually paid for a Sidca download and I got ALL emotional.

I blame the "Aberdeen Sound" which the world can't handle. But, I might be wrong.

I'm listening to rubbish. and I finally got my righteous pigs live and learn/stress related cd in the post. classy grind. Also the new-ish Thalia Zedeck record, and the newish QOTSA one.

I'm hoping so, I've a netgear at the moment- and it never gives me bother. Just fired up the BT hub and it's dropping out all the time- gives me flashbacks to the pre-netgear rage days!- I need to get a new one anyway- something to do with ADSL and VDWmegawanDSL. I can just tell me and the BT hub are not going to get on, even though it has cute wee feet like one of the robots from silent running.

How does bt infinity work. I don't want to use a home hub. I'm assuming they put a new plate on the phone socket and an ethernet cable goes from that to me router? It's vexing me. I don't want to rearrange my desk. I despise change. bollox. I'm going to be stuck with that bt hub.
