Surely you mean: TO KIIIIIIIIIILL
-
Well. SomeONE hasn't heard California Girls.
-
California Girls will not leave my brain. This is not necessarily a good thing, as this can be said about many kinds of tumour.

You laughed at a Commoner's Bluff? In the Belmont? How very dare you.

I think it's a bizarre piece of news because it extrapolates a shocking headline (OH NO! MUSLIMS!) out of a piece of conjecture in a newspaper with a marked conservative stance. The retired astronaut qualifies the statement about The Muslim world by stating 'and perhaps foremost'. Well? Is it foremost or are you saying that's it's PERHAPS foremost because the quote was sourced from an interview given to al-Jazeera? Put us out of our misery, astrodude, that 'perhaps' is a pretty big deal. Also, holy shit, look at that picture they've found of Obama. I'm not the guy's biggest fan, but why not just Photoshop some fucking Devil horns on there, eh, Telegraph? Here's a headline: NASA to encourage children's interest in Maths and Sciences. Oh sorry, nothing to raise pitchforks about there, I guess...

Generally the lower the quality of the film, the lower the quality of the audience, but seeing Artyfartyheehaws at The Blemont just brings a new kind of prick. Everytime I see a film there that's ostensibly a comedy, some prick HAS to advertise the fact that they 'get' a 'complex' 'joke' by braying loudly and then glancing around to see if anyone's as smart as them. Film: "That's what Freud said!" Prick : HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW! Film: "This is my cat, Schrodinger!" PRICK: "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!"

He might be able to break out a bit in Scott Pilgrim. The character in the comic is kind of headstrong and impulsive a lot, and the trailer shows moments where he's justifiably awkward (meeting Ramona properly for the first time, etc.) What I'm saying is that the potential is there for him to play a slightly different character, so we'll see if he rises to the occasion. Also I'm so excited for that goddamn movie.

I did explain my puns because SHUT UP GUYS OKAY?

I loved the opening describing a drive from Portlehen to Bridge of Don (if I remember correctly), but I wasn't a fan of the book as whole. Kinda felt the satire fell a bit flat. I finished it though, so I enjoyed it.

What a croutonous (cretinous) dicussion. I should woop (soup) all your be-heinz! (bottoms)

Prince says the Internet's completely over
3CR816 replied to Graham Knight's topic in Music Discussion
You can take the piss, but I'm at Prince's house right now posting from The Metaverse, which is better than the Internet. Prince also has so much Ribena, it's unbelievable. You don't have to worry about spilling it because: a) All his carpets are purple anyway b) He's so short he just needs to bend his neck slightly to sook it up out of the carpet. -
What Cd's have you been buying recently?
3CR816 replied to Paranoid Android's topic in Music Discussion
Joy Division - Closer One of those albums that I should have bought a long time ago but didn't for some reason. M.I.A. - Kala Pretty ace on first listen. Sleigh Bells - Treats Pretty good I guess. I like the song Straight A's, it's pretty crazy. -
This is quite simply a masterstroke of punning.

Somebody call a STURGEON! I've split my sides with all these puns in one PLAICE! I've HADDOCK up to here! (Did I do it right?)

If it's Orwell you want, Animal Farm is justifibly well-loved. My girlfriend tells me Coming Up For Air is good too. If it's more dystopian fiction you want, Brave New World is good too.

I actually saw this guy. I tried to get his attention, but I had a sore throat. I was really hoarse. I even found out his last name, but it was really generic. Black? Smith? Could be anything.

Pretty sharp, Alan. Pretty sharp. (didn't we do this a few pages back? :S)

In the best possible way. -
Friday: Terrorize the 13th Note in Glasgow with some 8-Bit/Digital Hardcore. Drink? Saturday: Do the same to Edinburgh's Henry's Cellar bar. Drink more? Sunday: Do the same to Drummonds, go home, look forward to week off work (yas!)

Please reform this band. I'm imagining a cross between Suicide/early B-52's with a little bit of the Flying Lizards the pop sensibility of Weezer. Basically, the best band that Aberdeen has ever seen. Adding an electric guitar is the worst thing that could happen to this band. In my head, I love all your albums and listen to them everyday.

Good luck, dude. You have to walk up hills, I hear

...nor is it the Jetsons. Put some effort in, folks. Rosie the Robot isn't going to sponge you down if you soil yourself simply because it's easier than removing your trousers and because they're washable.

Nah, that analogy only works if people can comfortably walk 70m/ph while protecting themselves from the elements and carrying passengers or cargo. Escalators move slower than I can walk and they don't save me much in the way of physical effort.

Mirror's Edge is underrated and cheap as chips now, good game. Not for everybody, but I loved the Cyberpunk design, unique look and pretty experimental gameplay. Another couple: Batman: Arkham Asylum & Assassian's Creed II were huge surprises last year. Mass Effect II was a good game too.
