  7. Well, I seem to recall watching a programme on TV about the early days of The Eagles and a different program about Gram Parsons, that mentioned that they were quite friendly and had some collaboration (songwriting?)..even before Parsons friendship with Keef... but I won't argue with you, I may be wrong!...but I don't think so!
  8. mmm. an abomination? well, Gram Parsons was mates with them and worked with them in the early days, so he must have thought they were O.K ? (I'm not a big fan of the Eagles either, but rather them (or anybody else within reason at that kind of price) than Neil F*cking Young !)) Its all personal preferences at the end of the day!
  9. I know some folk like him and all that, but I wouldn't pay anything like that amount to see him... not worth it (I think he's over-rated and can't sing for crap anyway!) ... now if it was someone like The Eagles...............

  21. Chicken Licken ! One day the primary school teacher was reading the story of Chicken Licken to her class. She came to the part of the story where Chicken Licken tried to warn the farmer. She read, '... and so Chicken Licken went up to the farmer and said, 'The sky is falling, the sky is falling!' The teacher paused, then asked the class, 'And what do you think that farmer said?' One little girl raised her hand and said, 'Well, I think he said:... "Fuck me!! ...a talking chicken!'' The teacher was unable to teach for the next 10 minutes.

  23. I refer you to my earlier posts regarding words/spelling etc.
  24. yea... I see where your going with that....speech is phonetic ! As in We & Americans both say "Kuller" (phonetic) but we spell it colour and they spell it color I meant that the english words we use in our speech, we tend to spell them in the correct way... mostly (unless its slang of course or we can't spell)...
