Eoin, I just ordered (be here any day) load of various earthy coloured recycled cd sleeves and stampe and retro owl stickers and the like to do some album launch or Xmas cd's but no longer need if you want. I ordered a big stamp of oxbow lake logo for £30 came in 2 days . If you need ideas.

I damn well expect nah demand to be patronised when I go to rnb. I've been feckin aboot with guitars fir 30 years and still know feck all about them except they make a damn fine noise. That's why I need to know they're is a few guitar scientists aboot to make me feel inferior, fix em but also remind me why i cannie be bothered with details details feckin details. You pay good money to be dominated like that, i tell yeh...And I want them to be nice boys like your gran would like. The nice lad feb rnb who looks like the mannie feh coast umbrella or guitar in rucksack etc. That's what I pay for. great news. north african genbre player and singer omar bin mohamed afif has been confirmed and will be playing also.

after stormin show at banff castle we hope to also get a north african musician who is banff based to play saturday also. spellbinding. so it's a couple of solo artists, DJ's (and if I get on the it'll be brillient music, brilliant I tell yeh's) and the oxbow lake band in full on electric mode (unless of course you want a slow number). see you there.

i would feel damn bad if I couldn't come up with something wintery, but computer problems, er... borken guitar strings and a bad tapping foot would count out a new tune. So all I have to offer is a tune from the new album. pick a tune any tune............................. one uses the word 'cold'????

chris, I understand your point but I'd give it a go and go to sessions, if they are intimidating then thery're the wrong one's! we play with trad musicians, some having been in and out of the band/orchestra. but we're based north of aberdeen (you west?), but if you pick us up on facebook you'll see notices for sessions north. one in banff 22nd oct banff castle before a band gig. these are relaxed have a few drams kind of sessions where you'd be made very welcome. cheers. or email oxbow.lake@btinternet.com you'd then make a lot of the contacts I think you're looking for.

colin. you know we love this, er... darling (?). It is brilliant. And the MC just flows with the music. superb. I would say it would be the best hippy funk hop I've ever heard in the whole universe, if it just had a bit more hook to fish with. But then again I say that about the roots and then they use the joanna newsom sample and a worm turns into a sliver fly... ok I'll stop this crap explantion and leave it there.......... again well done.
